This was the plan from the get go. The administration knew they couldn't get a single payer system passed, so they came up with a system that would be sure to fail. Once it fails, single payer will be the only option. Pretty sick if you ask me.

The Rs attempted to filibuster Obamacare and failed. It was that brief moment in time when Obama and the democrats could do what they wanted. They wanted to keep the insurance companies in play and Democrats from more conservative areas did not want single payer. While I am sure some were thinking the long game I would bet most just wanted the cash from the insurance companies who were paying for their survival.TierbsHsotBoobs said:
