With perhaps a weaker slate of offenses, can Death Row in 2016 be the best defense so far under Petersen? I know Stanford and Oregon are still strong at RB, but I'm actually looking forward to those games this year knowing that we for once have an even distribution of talent.

Austin Pettis, Andrea Bocelli, Izayah Renfroo, Chincredible, Braydon Lenius, String, Quarter Pounds, Kendall Taylor, Nikk Little, Cheeko Macklatcher and Erin Fuller agree with your statement.

You're out of your mind if you think 8-4 is out of the question. 9-3 is my early prediction. Stanford, Oregon, USC, @WSU, @arizona, @Utah. There are four conceivable losses in those 6 games.

    Inconceivable!

They could go 0-12. It's March, wgaf.

    yes it does.

there is no way this team goes 8-4. none.

9-3 = 6-3 in conference, which would be an improvement I'd be OK with, but it'd be kind of disappointing considering the Pac looks pretty lousy this year. Is going at least 1-2 against USC, Stanford, and Oregon too much to ask?

Edit: I'm choosing to ignore the fact that we haven't beaten ASU in 37 years.

Wat Da Fuq is wrong with the skin on her upper lip?

I was going to ask which one? But, then I started shaking and was about to vomit.

You suck at quoting. Must be all the shaking and vomiting.

Scrolling through the ESPN Pac-12 blog, I'm noticing a lot of optimistic blurbs about UW's chances in 2016. No real groundbreaking insights, but I did find it interesting that 8 Pac-12 teams will be starting new QBs. With perhaps a weaker slate of offenses, can Death Row in 2016 be the best defense so far under Petersen? I know Stanford and Oregon are still strong at RB, but I'm actually looking forward to those games this year knowing that we for once have an even distribution of talent.

No we dont. Pete cant recruit or coach. Heard it here 1st. Every Saturday for 26 odd weeks.

We will find a way to 8-4.

dennis, im gonna stab you in the eye for any/some/all the reasons below:

    1) "we'll go 8-4"
    2) the poasting holocaust that happened wednesday (thursday?)
    3) cause im just bout stabbing people

Because COTY almost never goes to the coach whose team won the championship, it always goes to the coach who "exceeded expectations" the most. This means consistently great coaches are passed over for frauds like Willingham who luck into a surprisingly good season here or there.
For his efforts (in 2002) he (Willingham) was named the ESPN/Home Depot College Coach of the Year,[3] the Scripps College Coach of the Year, the Black Coaches Association Male Coach of the Year, and the George Munger Award College Coach of the Year by the Maxwell Football Club.[4]
    Subjective awards mostly all suck.
