I haven't watched it yet, but last season wasn't great the first couple episodes either. Then by episode 3 and 4 it took off and was great until the finale, which was shit.

Very true. I pretty much had to beg my wife to keep watching it after the first 2 episodes. Although I think I'm the only person who actually liked the Carcosa scene. The house, the wife, and the guy were just so damn creepy.
