By that logic, we should have no laws since criminals just ignore them...
That is the libertarian logic on booze, drugs, and sex workers. Making a desired good illegal only increases the cost and the criminal activity around it. I mean prohibition worked great!

So our crack and meth dealers can run guns too and continue to kill each other at an alarming rate. you do realize most gun deaths are due to the idiotic idea of making drugs a street industry.

Logic can be your friend. Less laws are exactly what we need

I'm a little disappointed that a fellow VC who spent time with me in the jungles of Cuba before we stormed the casinos would so easily down play even small weapons in the hands of anti government forces.

Like the US in VietNam, the paper cuts added up to enough death to make the government back across the ocean say fuck it

We don't win the revolution without guns
The VC didn't win Vietnam with their small arms.

I think booze, drugs, and sex workers should all be legal and regulated. Just like guns.

    Regulation =/= Prohibition

And yet only guns are, hence my point that you ignored. 9 dead Blacks is a very slow Saturday in Chicago.

Yet guns are heavily regulated. Let's address reality not political point making

They are known for having small arms. They are a small people to begin with.

The US crushed the NVA every time they met. Conventional battle went as well for the slopes as it did for the US rebels.

The VC used small arms and terror tactics to kill the will to fight. Too many US casualties for too little to gain

Um, no. I don't think that guns are heavily regulated at all.

Guess how many firearm deaths there were in Honolulu last year?

    The O/U is 5

    C'mon Race, read the thread.

How many checkpoints are there between the Wisconsin or Indiana borders and Chicago?

    zero-point-zero

    Ya think?

The VC still had their small arms when their northern "brothers" took over and "re-educated" all of them.

A whole lotta good their small arms did then.

We done here, or you want to keep going?

I'm glad that nobody so far except Blackie thinks that people have the right to own anti aircraft weapons... as a flying boat owner... I don't want to have to worry about crazies shooting me down in a fit of rage.

So you want a national ban on guns

    #Blackieisright

These street gangs are getting their guns from Indiana? Along with gay wedding cakes?

Heavily regulated areas have high homicide rates.

Again - unless you want to be honest about what you want you're just playing to the low info voter. (hi Hondo!)

Of course I think - that's why I said it and you now agree. The VC weren't re educated. You're pressing now.

    Remember, I was there

It would be wrong to put a flying boat in this picture

Yes they were. The VC were nationalists, not communists. The commies from Hanoi came in and took over after we left. They didn't compromise or share.

You're losing yourself in my wheelhouse.

    Step away.

You're wheelhouse is out of a book. While I wasn't there (really?) it was current events. The VC were nationalists. How cute.

So was Ho. A nationalist commie.

Was is true in both Cuba and VN is that the new boss was well aware of the danger of individual gun ownership. Hence the disarming of the citizens.

Just like you commies want to do here!!!1111!!!!

    My books>>>>>your drum circles.

BTW, I never said I was against guns. I'm not. But you guys are abusing historical examples to support your position.

I will not abide that, dude.
