Didn't watch the film, but he looks like a possession receiver to me, good hands, blocks well, deceptive speed..

I understand that we are depleted at WR, but why waste rides on kids who suck? I haven't watched the film, but I believe Dennis and the others. Let's be real, JC guys aren't available in June if they are any good. Same goes for the QB. I would rather just sign more players for the 16' class.

The only thing saving me from straight out suicide in reaction to this news is that... if I know this and you know this ("JC guys aren't available in June if they are any good"), then Pete must know this, right?

There are two theories at tension in my mind here:

    1) Pete knows what he's doing and has been proven to evaluate/develop talent.
    2) Human hubris knows no bounds and they are overconfident and convincing themselves they are doing something that is innovative or clever when they are really just being stupid.

I can't tell. But—on the info I have to go with (the film and the JC in the summer thing)—this guy is horrible.

Yeah, after looking into it a bit more, he was injured for most of his sophomore year and only played in 2 games. The highlight video in the OP is from his freshman year, and his film from the sophomore year looks somewhat better. For those curious:

I understand what you mean, finding WRs with higher talent levels and 5 years to play 4, but the Little will be playing this fall whereas '16 kids are still a year away. The point of taking these JUCOs now is that they'll be playing this year. And if he's only here for 2 years, then he frees up a scholarship for '17, so it's not like he's taking up too much space right now.

What do you have against Mesicans?
Nothing. Messicans are half me. The bad half, but still.

I read that he was projected to be one of the top JC WRs in the country before getting hurt. He'll be used in redzone situations as an extra body.

Also, Claypool ain't coming here. He's as far as an Oregon lean as you can get without being a commit
