USC isn't the premiere program that everyone is looking to knock off. They are middle of the pack shit. HTH.puppylove_sugarsteel said:
Thanks for stating the obvious Teqilla. I was looking for someone who actually watches conference play, knows about the quality teams going into next year, who can bring an opinion on who might challenge USC.Tequilla said:
SC's real competition is Seven ...puppylove_sugarsteel said:Who might challenge him. I see the pac12 as pitiful next year. Stanford and senior Kevin Hogan are their only real competition. Maybe Zona,Oregon...maybe CAL?
It's not that fucking hard to see that. -
The Pac 12 isn't down when it's playing in the NCG. USC is not necessary. And they're currently irrelevant. Hopefully they stay there.RaceBannon said:

UW doesn't have a ghost of a chance of getting there, so you don't have much to say about that.PostGameOrangeSlices said:

Utah has a senior qb returning. Can they duplicate defensively to give Travis Wilson a chance? Can they replace Booker at tb? Dres Anderson (not sure if he gets another year)?, who replaces Mannion? Hundley? Mariota? Is this Cal's year with a gunslinging true Jr in Goff?
I just picked a few examples of how you bring chips to the table to make a debate . Saying Sark is too busy picking up waitress's, or USC will implode because of Seven is bullshit. Look at who's coming back. Kessler is prolly the most seasoned senior QB in the country. And the talent around him is comparable to any team in the country, compared to any SEC team going into next year. Can Sark replace Leonard Williams, Nelson Agholor? The seniors on the oline?
See im not just jumping on USC's wagon. Im looking at other pac12 teams and deducing USC has a great chance comparitively.
Who's going to challenge them Teqilla? What's your opinion on that? How do you see it?
And Thomas your pitiful one-liners wont apply here. Care to get involved in an actual football discussion? Isnt that why youre here? Try just once. *yawn* is what I expect. -

On offense I think this will actually be one of the lesser talented SC teams in awhile. In years past they had Robert Woods/Marquise Lee or Lee/Agholor or Agholor/Juju, now with Agholor and Farmer gone, it's Juju (who is not on Woods, Lee, Agholor level) and...? Buck Allen is gone, Justin Davis came in with a big reputation but hasn't shown much, that's a step back from the past 3 years at RB & WR. TE should be solid with return of Cope-Fitzpatrick and Bryce Dixon.puppylove_sugarsteel said:

On OL - they'll be better, but still start three true sophs and Banner, who sucks. Plus their OL coach followed Harbaugh to UM. Kessler is a better version of Keith Price. Their offense will be good, and it will look great vs shitty teams inflating the hype. Before crashing to earth vs competent teams. Sound vaguely familiar?
On defense their front 7 will be the biggest weakness. But their two corners - Adoree and Iman Marshall will be a formidable corner combo for the next 2-3 years. When it's all said and done they may be one of the best cover duos in the pac10/12 history. Those two may allow SC to get very risky and hide some of their issues upfront.
Finally Schedule - theyve benefitted from having beavs/Coogs the past two years, no longer...they ditch those two for ducks/huskies. Big upgrade, plus Stanford is way overdue against SC.
SC will be a preseason top 4 team, but finish 8-4 because their Defense is weak upfront, offense slightly overrated, schedule much tougher and Sark will Sark. I think UCLA and Arizona are more likely to win the south.
This is the beginning of the end for Sarks head coaching career.
Another witty comeback . You're shinin.ThomasFremont said:
