Okay

And what information to you have to suggest DEI would have anything to do with it?

That's a fairly standard operating path for choppers in the DC airspace. I believe most flights are classified as training for some reason. There is constant chopper traffic up and down the east bank of the river and has been for 40 years since Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling is right there. It is well known that the runway 33 approach goes by that airspace.

Route 4, max height is 200 feet on that route. Don't know if the chopper cleared their ceiling or drifted west of their route.

They're always running training exercises from Andrews or Belvoir. I lived in the flight path of DCA for a few years- always saw jets and military copters in the same area.

Airlines and the government ATC have been making DEI hires for years and there have been many near misses. It was a matter of time before something like this happened. If it has nothing to do with it, I'll stand corrected.

Fuck off

Which is more likely to be a contributing factor, a hiring freeze that started a few days ago or DEI that's been policy for the better part of a decade?
That's IF you want to go there. I'm content to keep this Nebraska classy and LIPO.
Actual T's and P's to the families. I can't imagine.
