I watched original Gladiator a couple weeks ago and it was as good as ever. So I watched G2. Once again left wondering why it was made. Its a good enough movie but not as good. It relies on what the kid calls easter eggs to glom onto the original. The lead i Maximus" son Lucius
Spoiler alert
Denzel is mailing it in as a bad guy. He doesn't play a lot of bad guys but Training Day is better
My favorite part of the original is the battle against the Nazis in the German forest. 2 starts out with a naval battle as the white Romans attack peaceful Numidia. And his wife is killed of course
Spoiler alert
Also watched The Accountant for the millionth time. The official movie of asperberger's and autism. HH official movie
saw Nosferatu. Was shocked there were 7 other people going to see a hipster vampire movie 3.5 weeks after release on a Wednesday. Pretentious as fuck but that’s what I wanted and excellently executed. Dumb it’s not nominated for anything with the joke Academy Awards but that’s also why they have no relevancy.
Yeah - save yourself the time. Race's review is spot-on. The original was so good that this sequel had a high bar to clear and it failed miserably at doing so. It's like the original film was just being done over again - but poorly this time.
Next staring Tom Hanks and Robin Write was an enjoyable top 10 on Netflix’s
If one uses a basic walking cane (like myself) or are losing your memory more each month or have mother/father in a similar situation I would recommend this movie.
There’s a funny and a little sad short series starring Ted Danza I watched based in San Francisco which my wife and I enjoyed although I can’t remember the name. A Danza search on flixs will help
Last of my old WW2 movies - The Heroes of Telemark - Kirk Douglas and Richard Harris stop the Nazis from getting heavy water and save the world from them getting the atomic bomb. Yet the world was not saved from the atomic bomb. That is a different story
Watched Amazing Spiderman 1 & 2 on Friday. These are the non-MCU Spider-Man flicks starring Andrew Garfield.
Unless you’re part of the MCU, I highly suggest not doing comic book superhero movies and if you’re part of the MCU, I highly suggest you stop making comic book superhero movies.
Watched Get Shorty on Saturday. Laughed seeing Alex Rocco AKA Moe Greene getting a message early in the film.

Unfortunately, Ridley is losing his touch.
I am glad I am not alone on Denzel’s performance in G2.
Not a movie, but watched the Mr. McMahon documentary on Netflix. Very well done. No boobs, but some bra and panties match footage.
A Beautiful Mind
Smoking hot Jennifer Connelly and I think Russell Crowe is in it as well.
I can't take my eyes off her in anything she's been in. She even gave me mass wood as a junkie whore in Requiem For a Dream.
I know I’ve only ever seen her in Maverick and Beautiful Mind but now I’m much more open to watching anything she’s in.
The Hot Spot and some movie with Billy Crudup and Joaquin Phoenix are a couple of others that come to mind.
The Fugitive. Fun watching that as Mrs Nacho is from Chicago and we lived there for a short tim.
Movie watching will increase in the Nacho home now that football season is over.

has there ever been a less necessary sequel? Will honestly not watch it out of protest
watched the SNL music documentary. Was decent enough. They stayed on a few topics too long. Like Kanye and Beyoncé.
And have been working through season 2 of The Night Agent.
And every Friday has been Silo and now Severance.

Don’t Move
A cheesy Netflix movie with that hottie bow and arrow Indian chick from Yellowstone. 90 minutes
I have also picked up on watching Arli$$ all the way through. Just about to finish season 3.
We got our thread back
Thanks Taft!
