Nosferatu. The original. Seemed kind of disjointed and was probably very scary for the time. No tits.

Tomboy. Prime Betsy Russell. Hot chick who is mechanically inclined who like a race car driver. Locker room shower scene. Lots of tits. A hint of bush

Where the Boys Are. Cheesy 80s teens sex comedy about college girls trip to Ft Lauderdale. Prime Lisa Hartman and Lynn Holly Johnson. The main girls don’t show their boobs but there are some boob. Not recommended

Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. Hadn’t seen it since it was in the theaters. The woman and kid were annoying as I remembered as a 14/15 year old kid. The woman and the kid do not make this enjoyable as it should be.

    The Program on Amazon

The Program is a 2024 documentary film that explores the US government's knowledge of unidentified aerial phenomena (UAPs), also known as UFOs.

The congressional hearings were compelling, the "we're not alone" angle is somewhat off-putting but not heavy handed.

    Heaven Knows Mr Allison

Great WW2 movie, Robert Mitchum and Deborah Kerr - @PurpleThrobber warning - no tits, nudity except Japs running around in what Hollywood thought Japanese underwear looked like circa 1944.

Could not be made today, derogatory terms for the Japs, I mean Nips, I mean Asian Armed Forces.

Heroes lived in a cave to hide from the Japs. Not the way I have seen other WW2 films where the Japs always hide in caves - how did they not find them? Hollywood writers must have missed that part. Made in 1957

    Quiet Place Day One

Lots of whispering and people trying to be quiet. Decent enough.

    The Ritual

A Netflix movie in the Scandinavian folk horror genre. Decent enough. 90 minutes. If you like that thing you should like this.

Schindlers List. Watched it with our 14 year old.

Also - over the holiday break we watched Carry On. Netflix movie with Jason Bateman. Solid and entertaining action flick. Nothing special

Somewhere in Queens. Ray Ramano's done some decent work since finishing that awful sitcom.

Watched him, Dennis Leary and Lisa Kudrow in No Good Deed on Netflix before that. Good series and worth the effort, but must everything Netflix produces contain substantial amounts of "Gays are the Best" public-grooming messaging?

    Give it a rest already.

    War Wagon 1967

Old Hollywood western. One of the last of the breed. White guy playing an Indian type stuff. I realized watching it that the John Wayne I saw growing up was old and washed and closer to death than to his prime. I think his last movie was 1974

Kirk Douglas over acting and showing his chin. And obligatory young Bruce Dern playing an asshole - a type casting that lasted his career

It was time for new Hollywood and the death of the studio control

    Vision Quest

Now I know why @PurpleThrobber keeps messaging me about private tai chi lessons. Didn't know the movie starred Sixteen Candles heart throb Jake Ryan. Also Madonna cameo is a bit wild. Did anyone on the boards ever mention that it was filmed in Spokane? Anyone? I think I'm the first.

    Always makes me laugh:

If you live in/lived in or are considering living in Spokane and have never seen VisionQuest, you should light yourself on fire. Arguably the best movie soundtrack ever.

Know a bunch guys that were rasslers in the movie. Allegedly one of them nailed Linda Fiorrentino. Have partaken in athletic events at virtually every scene in the movie. Always makes me laugh when Louden warms up prior to the final in the Rogers HS rassling room and bolts out onto the floor at Spokane Falls Community College.

Louden Swain is the fucking man.

    • Louden Swain: You never took a night off to see me wrestle before. They'll dock you for that.
    • Elmo: Hey, kid - money ain't everything.
    • Louden Swain: It's not that big a deal, Elmo. I mean, it's six lousy minutes on the mat, if that.
    • Elmo: You ever hear of Pele?
    • Louden Swain: Yeah, he's a, a soccer player.
    • Elmo: A very famous soccer player.
    • [pause]
    • Elmo: I was in the room here one day... watchin' the Mexican channel on TV. I don't know nothin' about Pele. I'm watchin' what this guy can do with a ball and his feet. Next thing I know, he jumps in the air and flips into a somersault and kicks the ball in - upside down and backwards... the goddamn goalie never knew what the fuck hit him. Pele gets excited and he rips off his jersey and starts running around the stadium waving it around his head. Everybody's screaming in Spanish. I'm here, sitting alone in my room, and I start crying.
    • [pause]
    • Elmo: That's right, I start crying. Because another human being, a species that I happen to belong to, could kick a ball, and lift himself, and the rest of us sad-assed human beings, up to a better place to be, if only for a minute... let me tell ya, kid - it was pretty goddamned glorious. It ain't the six minutes... it's what happens in that six minutes.

    The Watchers

Another folk horror film with Dakota Fanning. Decent enough.

Watched Animal House - not as funny this time - I must be old, still laffed.

L.A. Confidential. Mrs Nacho had never seen it. She liked it.

    John Wick 4.

Lots of shooting and stabbing and killing and suspension of belief.

    Reptile

Lots of decent people in it but I could see what was gonna happen. No boobs. Not recommend

    Hangar 18

I just remember a ton of commercials for this back in 1980 when there were a ton of UFO movies out there. Never saw it back then but so wanted to.

    Frankenhooker

Never saw it but always saw the movie box. Lots of boobs.

  • El_KEl_K Member, Swaye's Wigwam Posts: 1,361 Swaye's Wigwam

    Lucky Bastard
a found footage style of movie where a lucky guy wins a contest to bang a porn star. Of course the guy is a bit nuts and just wants the film back after premature jizzing in his pants. Lots of boobs. Just OK.
