Well, for lot's of men like you, free tampons in the men's room is a big deal, otherwise, why put tampons in the men's room? Probably not a voting matter for a centrist like you, but for many it is a life or death matter.
Appears to me there are people who served who take different positions on this controversy, and that the Right is intent on smearing him whether all the facts are known or not. Julin certainly does a fair amount of speculating and it's a lot of "he said, he said" right now. And, of course, we've already seen deaths in Iraq attributed to Walz's retirement, which is a huge stretch; no doubt that will continue.
To me it seems kind of distasteful to disparage anyone's military service, but I was already going to vote for the Democratic ticket anyway. I don't know whether this matter moves the needle for anyone or not, or if it does, in which direction.
At some point you're going to have applied that label to so many trifles that it will lose any significance it actually has.
Tom Cotton employing Ranger training to imply something greater—which he did—would be "stolen valor" under your construction. The TugCon girls defended him to the hilt.
Tim Walz issued one executive order in his first month as governor of Minnesota.
One. No issue in the entire state of Minnesota rated this much attention, because Walz was addressing a desperate emergency in our state.
Minnesota, you see, didn't have a Diversity, Inclusion, and Equity Council, and he needed to fix that. It was so high a priority for him that he made himself its chair in addition to establishing the council.
Our State must be a leader in ensuring that everyone has an opportunity to thrive. Disparities in Minnesota, including those based on race, geography, and economic status, keep our entire state from reaching its full potential. As long as inequities impact Minnesotans' ability to be successful, we have work to do. Our state will recognize its full potential when all Minnesotans are provided the opportunity to lead healthy, fulfilled lives.
Diversity, inclusion, and equity are therefore essential core values and top priorities to achieve One Minnesota.
For these reasons, I order that:
1. The One Minnesota Council on Diversity, Inclusion, and Equity ("Council") be established.
2. The Governor will serve as the Chair of the Council.
3. The Chief Inclusion Officer will serve as the Chair of the Council on behalf of the Governor...
[further racialist bullshit ommitted]
As you can see, Walz made this a whole of government approach, and unlike most politicians he has been following through. Racial preferences have expanded into every bit of government. Even when treating a disease like COVID, being "BIPOC" puts you at the front of the line in getting treatment.

Tim Walz's very first executive order as Minnesota's Dad was to establish a state office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
So is Tom running for VP? One step away of commander and chief?
Agreed. Let me know when someone in this election does it.
