You just can’t get good Szechuan in Minnesota.
-
Well well well … now we understand Dazzler’s fellating of Walz. Work the balls Dazzler, work the balls.
.
-
I'm hearing the golden rule in Minnesota is to mind your own damn business.
-
Alleged nefarious schemes to avoid serving more than 24 years, offered on behalf of a draft dodger's candidacy.
Can't make this shit up.
-
It’s the people in his unit saying he’s worthless and a coward, Dazzler.
Take it up with them since it seems you’re totally invested in defending this guy.
-
Saying you're a COMBAT veteran when you aren't. Full stop.
Feel free to triple down. Per usual you are either stupid or disingenuous.

Mostly folksy fascism.

Walz seems like a great guy and an amazing leader.
When soldier Kyle Miller was killed by a roadside bomb in Iraq on June 29, 2006, the man expected to lead them into combat was not there. Tim Walz, who would go on to be Kamala Harris' running mate, left his Minnesota National Guard unit two months before it deployed - and some will never trust him again. That includes Miller's mother who delivered a damning verdict on Walz's character, accusing him of taking the 'coward's way out' and 'running away' by opting to campaign for Congress instead of going to Iraq to face danger with her son.

Having never served in a combat unit I appreciate your take that is completely devoid of ANY knowledge of what military leadership is supposed to do, or how they normally conduct themselves. To say that it is rare for a Command Sergeant Major or Command Master Chief to leave their unit on the eve of a war, and not care for the troops/Sailors they have been responsible for is a gross understatement.
Look, I am not even busting on you here, you've never served, so how could you know? But believe me, to anyone who has served, what he did is basically completely unthinkable. Thus the avalanche of people who served with him calling him a pos. I'll trust them.

You think there are flames over this. I’ve got bad news for you.

Well, for lot's of men like you, free tampons in the men's room is a big deal, otherwise, why put tampons in the men's room? Probably not a voting matter for a centrist like you, but for many it is a life or death matter.
-
Appears to me there are people who served who take different positions on this controversy, and that the Right is intent on smearing him whether all the facts are known or not. Julin certainly does a fair amount of speculating and it's a lot of "he said, he said" right now. And, of course, we've already seen deaths in Iraq attributed to Walz's retirement, which is a huge stretch; no doubt that will continue.
To me it seems kind of distasteful to disparage anyone's military service, but I was already going to vote for the Democratic ticket anyway. I don't know whether this matter moves the needle for anyone or not, or if it does, in which direction.

Stole Valor is distasteful, Turbo

They scrubbed the website genius
You can stand down now
-
At some point you're going to have applied that label to so many trifles that it will lose any significance it actually has.
Tom Cotton employing Ranger training to imply something greater—which he did—would be "stolen valor" under your construction. The TugCon girls defended him to the hilt.
-
You've accused Cotton
Hope this helps

Of inflating his credentials, yes. Was it "stolen valor", Race?

Tampon Tim, focused like a laser beam on the big issues.
https://ace.mu.nu/
Tim Walz's very first executive order as Minnesota's Dad was to establish a state office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
Tim Walz issued one executive order in his first month as governor of Minnesota.
One. No issue in the entire state of Minnesota rated this much attention, because Walz was addressing a desperate emergency in our state.
Minnesota, you see, didn't have a Diversity, Inclusion, and Equity Council, and he needed to fix that. It was so high a priority for him that he made himself its chair in addition to establishing the council.
Our State must be a leader in ensuring that everyone has an opportunity to thrive. Disparities in Minnesota, including those based on race, geography, and economic status, keep our entire state from reaching its full potential. As long as inequities impact Minnesotans' ability to be successful, we have work to do. Our state will recognize its full potential when all Minnesotans are provided the opportunity to lead healthy, fulfilled lives.
Diversity, inclusion, and equity are therefore essential core values and top priorities to achieve One Minnesota.
For these reasons, I order that:
1. The One Minnesota Council on Diversity, Inclusion, and Equity ("Council") be established.
2. The Governor will serve as the Chair of the Council.
3. The Chief Inclusion Officer will serve as the Chair of the Council on behalf of the Governor...
[further racialist bullshit ommitted]
As you can see, Walz made this a whole of government approach, and unlike most politicians he has been following through. Racial preferences have expanded into every bit of government. Even when treating a disease like COVID, being "BIPOC" puts you at the front of the line in getting treatment. -
So is Tom running for VP? One step away of commander and chief?
-
-
Agreed. Let me know when someone in this election does it.
