If we? lose because of a fatass nose tackle shut it down.

Sweat is far from just a fat ass. Dude can move. He'll spend most of the game taking on double teams so that others can work. But, given the opportunity, he'll flash some impressive pass rushing skills given his size. His primary problem in previous seasons was he would tire out quickly. He made a jump this year with his motor, but we also substitute liberally on the dline. Teams that run the hurry up can get some real offensive momentum as a result if they can keep moving and prevent our subs. Washington doesn't appear to play that way, but I'm sure it is something y'all will try after watching our film.
It doesn't matter. I don't see his name showing up in the 1st round in the mock drafts. He's not Haloti Ngata or Aaron Donald.

Well, it’s kinda funny with my @PGOS pod.

He made a funny that Now I’m a TideDawg..

No, why no I’m not. Just because I state my opinion don’t mean I’m that fan. Im no Tide Dawg. I came here in 2016 when WA was playing Bama in a CFP game. OK. Don’t mean I’m a Tide fan. And don’t meant I can’t state my opinion on who’s going to win that game being neither fan. I am an SEC fan and folks hate that and can’t see it. Fine.

I’ll say agian, Bama is about to win it all. That don’t make me a “Tide fan”. That’s my opinion. Committee fucked around and let an SEC team in it, to a world of hate and disgust. Caus why? Just watch Michigan reaction to “seeing” who they get first round…

Wait. Oh yeah, that makes me a Bama fan. Heh

We just have to use the gameplans that OU, KSU, TCU and Houston used. Texas and Alabama have basically been exactly the same as Washington and FSU this year with a zillion shitty wins, except that Texas and Alabama have both found a way to lose a game in between all their shitty wins.

Texas is objectively not that great of a team. The only evidence that Texas is that great of a team is their win over ridiculously overrated Alabama, who in turn is basically living off their Bama's rep from previous years and a win over a UGA team that was largely living off of UGA's rep from previous years. I think our game against Texas is basically a coin flip.

Really, Michigan is head and shoulders the best team in the country. Ohio State and Penn State are probably the 2nd and 3rd best teams in the country, and Michigan beat them both without Harbaugh coaching. Michigan is going to beat Alabama by about 28 points, and then they're going to beat the winner of the Texas/Washington game by about 28 points.

This Bama is not like past Bama squads. Let’s be honest about that.

Agree. Still good enough to handle one dimensional Michigan tho

Michigan will shut Milroe down. I don't see Bama scoring more than 20

That might be enough to beat Michigan, but I expect Michigan to advance

Could be a 16-10 kind of game.

But Bama isn’t losing to Michigan.

    Harbaugh sucks until proven otherwise

The Tejas TE is probably our biggest matchup problem

Physical player? Softy has no idea which guy Xavier worthy is, right? Does he think the 6’1 170lb guy is getting his YAC from breaking tackles?
Being physical certainly isn't Worthy's primary or even secondary attribute, and he isn't great at contested catches as a result. However, for a smaller dude, he can definitely get after contact a bit in spots when the ball is in his hand. He also is pretty good and maintaining his feet and bouncing off of contact if a defender doesn't or isn't able to wrap up.

This game will be a lot of fun because each team legitimately features 3 NFL receiving threats that will be fairly early picks in the draft when they go.

Worthy did truck a couple of guys this season including an epic one against Oklahoma State, but yeah.... this is a beyond stupid comment. Worthy gets his YAC from speed.

when he catches the ball, yes
I watched that bitch drop one of his 3 would be TD catches and then slowly walk 40yrds back to the Texas sideline pouting the whole time.

He could take some tips form Mickens on catching more than he drops

Playing with a broken hand last year. Drops have not been an issue this year.

Drops aren't a stat but he had 7 last year and 3 in the bowl

3 against BYU this year but that was all the story had

He'll get open. No doubt about that

I’ll say it again, THIS TX team ain’t last years. Many of y’all seem to be looking ahead at Bama/Michigan. This TX front 7 is going to stop DJ like none this year and put pressure on Penix like none this year.

WA OL is going to win or lose this game. It won’t be Penix, DJ or the Receivers. IF they can protect and open holes on this TX front, they’ll have a chance.

I’m not shitting, pods. They front 7 on TX is very legit, esp the two DL tackles.

This won’t be a who can outscore who game in the 45-50 point range. The LOS is going to be huge here. That’s where folks are going to get beat the fuck up. No finesse. TX has found some physicality they haven’t had in a long time. I’m not saying TX is GOING to win, don’t twist, but this will be WA most physical game of the year, bar none.

It's the same roster as the Alamo with the same head coach who has a history of not developing anyone, but still.

Agree here, but also we know who sark and kawasaki are. They choke in big moments.
