I got an advance reading of the script

Butt UW goes on to lose the Conference Title game rematch to Oregon thus ensuring UW is screwed by Kliavkoff's division elimination in both 2022 and 2023, which were of course the only years in which the divisions didn't exist (though inexplicably division scheduling still did)
Oregon makes the playoff, One loss UW who finished the regular season 12-0 goes NY6.
Fuck the Pac12 forever.

but still, script stays the script. -
its all true except that teams are normally just a couple of injuries away from having their season unravel, and the Dawgs have been thru that already and are getting healthier down the stretch and finish the pac12 undefeated winning the ccg rather easily.

Oregon players will be crying to mommy after the beatdown

This is the hope for sure.rodmansrage said:

We aren't losing to Oregon. I'm moar worried about OSU. UTE will be greased up to play us, shouldn't be taken lightly at all. Oregon is due for a rough game or two, they have been healthy and hot recently, i dont see Ferguson's leg holding out the rest of the way, they are one injury on the DL from being vulnerable and Lanning will choke a big game away at some point
-
Nix gets his other leg amputated but Oregon keeps winning until CCG.
As expected, his backup goes nuts 27/31 for 378 yards with another 84 on the ground. Despite that UW comes up with a very fluky defensive play to win by 2.
For the rest of eternity Ducks push the narrative that UW only made it to CFP because Nix was hurt. -
I think there is a greater than 50% chance that this happens.dnc said:UW beats Utah, Beav (scary close) and WSU. Thus UW completes only the second 9-0 conference season ever in Pac12 history. DoogItUp.gif

I seem to recall people being happy that the divisions were eliminated because the South was shit for so long and nobody wanted 8 - 4 UCLA teams in the CCG. -
Maybe people who gave two shits about the conference wanted to eliminate the divisions, but most around here were smart enough to realize the divisions gave UW (and everyone else for that matter) the easiest path to the championship game.BleachedAnusDawg said:

And most in here don’t give two shits about the conference. -
I don't 100% hate the end of divisions as it's the direction all the other major conferences are going too. I get it.BleachedAnusDawg said:

But you can't keep division schedules and get rid of divisions, that's the part that is Pac12FS. -
If we can't beat OU in the Conference Championship Game, then we aren't a Top 4 squad.
It will all sort itself out. -
Last year's assfuckery was legendary - Utah didn't have to play Oregon, while USC somehow skipped both UW and the ducks. So instead of giving them a shot to prove it against the clear cut best teams in the north, the fucktarded tie breaker was somehow awarded to Utah - who was 0-1 against the other two. And of course we reap what we sow as a conference and both Utah and USC proceed to embarrass themselves in big bowl games while the ducks and Dawgs take care of business.
Fuck this conference. Deboner needs to leave a general Sherman trail of loose rectums and destruction in his wake. Playoffs are not optional. -
Disagree. The traditional anti-UW script is null and void.
THIS is the script
UW beats Oregon three times in two years - at home, neutral, and on the road.
Duck fans continue to make excuses while watching UW make the playoff -

I see a UW team that was in control of that game - up 11 with the ball late.
This time, I see DeBoer and Grubb unleashing the Johnson late, not just the Penix.
3 wins over Oregon in 2 years. Embrace the opportunity doogs. It'll be epic. -
Oregon has looked super TUFF and scary beating up on mediocre to bad teams. And the win in SLC is impressive even Utah without Cam Rising.PostGameOrangeSlices said:

But I think USC game Grubb could have put us up by 18 on Oregon and won by 7 to 10 points, at least.
People forget that UW has owned Oregon since football was invented in 1994 with our non-tight asshole and/or dip shit coaches.
Ricky and DeBoner are 4-1 all time vs the Mighty Oregon Ducks. -

This team plays up for big games. Not going to get much bigger than playing the Oregon hype machine for a semi-playoff round. They are built for this.PostGameOrangeSlices said:

Dawgs 15-0 national champs. Media runs articles calling us the least impressive undefeated team ever and we finish #2 in the AP poll.

If UW wins out and losses to 12-1 Oregon in the championship, UW will have the better SOR
UW's other wins are 6-3 Arizona, MSU, Boise, and Tulsa
Oregon's other wins are 4-5 CU, TTech, Hawaii, and Portland State
CFP Committee is favoring resume over eye test -

It will depend some on how things shape out the next few weeks but they'd be more likely to take Oregon over us in that event even with our superior resume. Committee is clearly not impressed with UW so far. -
Oregon is voted AP #1 after defeating Texas in the Cotton Bowl to finish 12-2. Quooks everywhere decide that voting a champion is superior to winning on the field. They are the "more complete team" after all.PurpleJ said:Dawgs 15-0 national champs. Media runs articles calling us the least impressive undefeated team ever and we finish #2 in the AP poll.

If UW can get Jalen healthy I'll take us to beat Oregon in the rematch rather easily. We'll have a shot even without him. -
If the committee favored resume, UW would be in the top 4. Michigan has beaten absolutely nobody, they're pure eye test. OSU's resume is wins over a mediocre Notre Dame team and PSU, which has beaten nobody. The committee chairman even said out loud that UW's weak performances against Stanford and ASU are what held them back at 5 (eye test again). The only reason Oregon is behind UW is head to head result. If Oregon beats UW in the championship game the committee will no longer have that obvious hurdle and Oregon goes to CFP and UW goes to NY6.whatshouldicareabout said:If UW wins out and losses to 12-1 Oregon in the championship, UW will have the better SOR

I still think UW will win the rematch, because somehow they keep figuring out how to win games they have plenty of opportunities to lose. -

You all are way more optimistic about beating Oregon. I give us like a 25% chance if it's us or them for the CFP.

All conferences have either killed or will kill divisions. The P12 was actually proactive in this regard, one of the few decisions that wasn't phucktarded.
The whining going on here about no divisions is doogish and smacks of Caleb Williams-level crying to mommy.
If UW is the best team, then beat the next best team on a neutral field or STFU. It might not even be Oregon....
