This is how I remember Catherine as hell. Space 1999.

Good pull with Catherine Schell. Watched some Space 1999 the other night on Crackle…

Dances With Wolves, again, for me. Never gets old.

Now watching The Expanse on Prime. Season 2.
Just got the Netflix BluRay for The Whale and will watch that this weekend

And still getting through The Strain on DVD. Season 2.

I sure hope someone picks up the missing market that Netflix is leaving the ship to home DVD void that will be created in September. It is the cheapest way to watch an old series that isn’t streaming or has a zillion commercials

When is Air scheduled to be available on streaming?

The only reason to go to the theater is to receive a handy in the back row. And that’s 40 years in the rear view mirror.

Watched the Sons of Katie Elder OG version over the weekend. Cheesy but good.

The Whale. Decent movie. I do like the A24 movies quite a bit as they are usually a bit different.

And I will be hitting the gym tonight for sure. Do not want to end up washing myself with a wash rag on a stick later in life.

Took my family to Mario Movie and got drunk.

Jack Black's schtick at this point is just annoying as fuck. Also, Chris Pratt doing a voiceover in this, I mean why? Why do you need pricey actors to do voiceovers for this shit? Was the movie going to suck if you got someone that actually was from Brooklyn?

What's his name from It's Always Sunny did a decent job as Luigi. I own Mario Golf and Warioware on switch but otherwise have never played any of this shit so most of it made no sense. Billion dollar movie. Fuck

Parasite, the 1982 version with Demi Moore

The Square. Boring as shit. Stay away from this turd sandwich. We only y watched because we liked……

    Triangle
    of Sadness. Decent movie.

The Man Who Would Be King. Decent movie. Old but good.

Clerks 3. The completist in me said I had to watch it.

Pearl is fucking awesome. Last kill scene at the end is legitimately genius directing and Mia Goth deserves an Oscar for that movie and her role in Infinity Pool.

Maxxxine I will probably make into an event to bar hop before seeing. The whole X Trilogy has been a lot of fun so far.

Stepbrothers. Forgot about the scene where he drags his nuts over the drumset and almost laughed my way into a stroke.

I recently completed the Crocodile Dundee trilogy for the same reason.

I’ve been on a watch older movies streak recently:

Raw Deal - Arnold takes on the mob to Ave he his buddy’s son.

Commando - Arnold takes on an army to save his daughter.

Transformers - Shia LeBoof takes on Megan Fox. And robots.

Hilariously, had this same conversation at work the other day. Pretty sure Mario Movie sells itself without celeb voices. Old Disney didn't do that. Biz model doesn't make any sense.

This weekend I will be watching
Dirty Rotten Scoundrels as I have never seen it
And some movie called Becky. About some bad ass teenager who battles some escaped convicts. Kevin King of Queens and Joel McHale star!

This may sound like a boomer thing, but I still get the DVDs from Netflix. 2 out a time unlimited. Gonna stick with it until Netflix kills it in September. Was hoping Redbox or someone else picks it as it is way cheaper than streaming it for $5

    Grande Isle

    Bad Country

Two movies that don’t strike the heart here, they’re both Deep South. The horror. Neither is real good. Neither is bad. Entertaining is all I can say. Some good actors(with fake southern accents, as usual) but they are entertaining, at the least. I can’t recommend or condemn. I found em both at least entertaining. Bout al I can say:

I kinda miss the DVD delivery.

I ended up finding DRS for rent on Apple TV and watched it last night. I’ve seen it one other time while still in high school and guess I expected more slapstick juvenile humor at the time. Had some good laughs watching it last night.

Watched Creed III last night. Updated version of Rocky III? I was waiting the line, “Friends don’t owe, they because the want to do!” Or a robot that said Happy Birthday Pauley.
