You will probably get robbed on the res. Never trust the Paiutes!LebamDawg said:Well I am now in Arizona for the big game - but I can't find anyone to tailgate with
the stadium is just over that ridge I think.
14 miles out of Freedonia and settling in for a night of sports. Checked the sports schedule and it appears to be basically second tier games. oh well.
Will be here for a while going up to Zion, Bryce, and some other stuff up by Kanab, Utah. Stayed out here at the RV park on the Piaute Indian reservation because I am a cheap bastard. Cost per day is $22 - full hook up and internet.
Here is a shot coming into Kanab, Utah - the color of the hills change drastically coming into this area -

Watch out for any strange looking people on horseback circling in on your trailer park. -
just your basic sunrise out in the middle of northern Arizona

Need more pics of Mabel

Lots of things to see around Southern Utah and Northern Arizona. I have been through this area a couple of times and did it as fast as possible. Boy was that a dumb way to travel, I guess now that I am old I finally am stopping to smell the roses. Careful - some of these roses have big - damn big - thorns. Really think this area is beautiful - but at the same time it isn't 100 degrees

Get back on the 15 and head to Temecula
-
During the Stanford game you can smoke weed with Race Bannon and pass out on the Caesar couch
-
Cali is not on the list of places to visit. I worked there many moons ago (sorry @swaye) and did not pay taxes for the entire year. Friends of mine got nailed and Washington garnished the $$$ for Cali. I never got contacted - and am terrified of getting a ticket and being found out. I have snuck in-n-out a couple of times.RaceBannon said:Get back on the 15 and head to Temecula

Went to the Northern Rim of the Grand Canyon, really nice drive elevation up at 9K so a 4K climb and then all of a sudden the canyon is 50 feet to the side of the road. Jaw dropping. Bad news is the park is closed for winter Dec 1- thru Feb 28 - so why was it closed now?
Not able to do much of anything as I can't do hardly any walking due to bum knee, so gentle walking and no climbing. Had dog with us and no dogs allowed. Lodge and Saloon closed.
still impressive - colors and all that are amazing
The other one that is interesting - some Germans are traveling in two rigs and pulled in last night. This thing is a VW - VW thing?
-
Sure it's not a Mercedes Unimog?
-
Looks like some random version of a Unimog.
-
Jinx!

vw on the front grill

Shocked that you didn't post pics of the new clear cuts between Pluvious and Wallville while making your escape, but I thank you for it.
Just because you've left Pacific County, doesn't mean it's ok to invite all the tourists in behind you. -
How bad did they cut it up? They had done the south side years ago - and down by the new bridges on the north - I know the guy the lives down in Walville - did some work for me. His wife threw him out - he was involved in Jones brewery in Pe EllDHD said:Shocked that you didn't post pics of the new clear cuts between Pluvious and Wallville while making your escape, but I thank you for it.

Edit: Tiny houses is what his ambition was - then his wife asked him to leave -

When I lived in Pacific County a daily occurrence is logging trucks - easily 15 or so a day. Since leaving Washington, a few logging trucks in Eastern Oregon and Idaho, a rare occasion in Utah and when I went to the Grand Canyon saw one logging truck. Numerous signs for one area north of the canyon about logging operations and that has been it.
Washington might be number one in logging. -
So Earth Cruiser's factory is about 4 miles from Casa de Yella. They use and Isuzu platform I believe.LebamDawg said:Went to the Northern Rim of the Grand Canyon, really nice drive elevation up at 9K so a 4K climb and then all of a sudden the canyon is 50 feet to the side of the road. Well I am a little slow - getting ready to leave Flagstaff and heading to the heat in that lovely part of Arizona Casa Grande, I will get the tailgate set up for the big game at ASU this weekend with our? substitute coaches and, I assume, the non-union scab team that will travel down to the heat along with their new hero Funiamavi.
Left the north Paiute territory and headed into Navajo territory with out any incidents. No wrecks, no pissing the natives off, only pissing the mrs off on occasion - so all is well
Last sunrise in the north
First sunset in Flagstaff
Good thing about hauling your house around is if one needs to drop a deuce just pull over - the things I do for MrsIamnotinLebam wink wink
Try taking a photo as you drive across a bridge over the mighty Colorado River - I got lucky and only kind of scared the navigator
-
Both our houses have wheels but yours look much nicer.
edit: My wheels got stolen. -
