Oh my goodness Texas just hired Sark (not sarcasm)

LOL I went over to the UT 247 board to see their reaction and Griswald was already over there all over Sark's nuts.
I dealt with Steve a lot while he was at Washington. First thing to know is he is incredibly bright. He learned a lot at Washington and fought some demons. He's a bright, articulate, charming, engaging guy who is also competitive as hell. He's appeared to put his demons behind him.
You're going to love Sark. It will be interesting to see who he fills his staff with. Knowing the competitive nature of Sark, I'm sure he negotiated a large assistant salary pool. If he gets Tosh Lupoi on staff, watch out. Tosh is one of the best recruiters I've ever dealt with. He's currently with Atlanta.
He's an outstanding recruiter and phenomenal working with QB's. He trusts his guys and has an edge. Guys love playing for him.
Texas didn't hit a home run with Sark. They hit a grand slam. -
Thank you Sark

Now that he is back in the big time as a head coach, this game alone speaks volumes about what he did here at Washington. Still brings tears to my eyes!https://youtu.be/SuWdOwYZKBM
Hope we get a chance to beat him soon! -
Uhh, the Huskies didn't fire him, though they should havedoogie said:Husky’s Never should have fired him

Sark choosing to be Saban's successor over Herman's might be the only scenario more delicious -

A poster on the Texas 247 board just gave Sark credit for landing Budda Baker and Kaleb McGeary.

Lmao. At least kiffen spent a couple of years at FAU on his redemption tour.
Sark washed out in the NFL and then called complex plays like “pass it to davonta smith” for the most talented roster in the country.
Being a Washington fan is miserable, but at least we aren’t UT fans. To have every institutional advantage, but be absolute dreck year after year. No wonder their fans are crazy.

He can get that talent at Texas. Bama recruits there quite a bit.doogville said:Lmao. At least kiffen spent a couple of years at FAU on his redemption tour.

But it is a HUGE difference being under the thumb of a Mt Rushmore anal retentive OCD coach and being large and in charge again
Play calling doesn't build a program -
Why does every blowhard in the media love this guy
-
Sarks ability to fail upwards is by far his most ELITE talent
Everything else is the same as it has always been...
Most coaches are mosty retarded, ADs have no fucking clue what they are doing, and the coaching fraternity is an incestuous good ol' boys network that has bred itself into a merry go round of autism and syphilitic morons. -

Perhaps you're thinking of the New Jersey Devils? An easy mistake to make. -
Looks like Texas is angling for some of that sweet sizzling FREE PUB!!! from all the talk about their new head coach every time Sark is on screen during the NCG!

Has anybody got Erin Andrews opinion?

Lots of "so happy for this former Husky great who turned our program around. Texas just became my 2nd favorite team" sentiment
Let's also not forget that he valiantly fought through and survived a life threatening disease he acquired through no fault of his own. -
Sark is inheriting the #3 ranked classes from 2018 and 2019 and the #8 ranked class from 2020. They are loaded with talent. It probably won't matter.

More ball gargling from Kim
Not sure you have a grap on how good of a recruitier he is. Relentless and ruthless. He'll win the press conference, the team, and current recruits.
He's good.
He did a pretty good job at UW. He took over an 0-12 program which was bad. Really bad. He changed the culture quickly and had the kids beleiviong in temselves. He hired Nick Holt as his DC, which didn't work at all. He let him go and hired Justin Wilcox, which was a home run. Won seven games his last two years, but recruited very, very well. was set up with a great roster once he purged all Tyrone's guys and improved the talent.
I think you'll be very pleased.......until he loses a game. Fans are fans.
The Washington team that made CFP was mostl;y led by guys Sark brought in.
Didn't mean to upset anybody, just thought I'd add my two cents on the hire since I dealt with him quite a bit at UW.
Most Washingto. fand are happy for him because they understand the situation. Texas gained a lot of fans from the fine state of Washington today.
Good luck -

The 2008 team had a decent roster. I could have coached them to 6 wins and I am a complete fucking retard. -

It’s just goes to show how shitty the pool of coaching talent is out there right now. Look at our conference? What coach would a major Blue blood want to poach? Maybe Crystal Ballz?Gladstone said:
