Massively idiotic. Not only was the American civil war about freeing the slaves and not freeing slaves because the union won and the country that wanted to keep slaves literally no longer exists anymore, but also The term civil war doesn’t even fucking refer only to that specific civil war. The war between OSU and UO is a different civil war Entirely. Shit like this is why there is going to be a massive political backlash as soon as the weight of trump is gone, Fucking idiots. But since this probably hurts Oregon in even a small way LIPO.

But this is just pants-on-head silly. The Civil War ushered in the single greatest piece of human rights advancement this country has seen. Are we no longer celebrating that?
As with most things the problem is too many people are all or nothing. If you support taking down nothing there's something wrong. If you support taking down everything there's something wrong.
