Yes it is. Perceived real math?Bob_C said:No one is for cops killing black people. No one in reality is against black people succeeding. It’s all profiling, profiling isn’t racism. Black people are treated differently because of the quick probabilities that people do in their heads, based on real risk math or at least perceived real math. If it’s perceived, that will reverse itself over time as it’s earned, go earn it by exceeding expectations. No one is going to give it to you, though many that don’t actually have black societies best interests at heart will claim to be able to do so. No legislation or protesting or decrees or leadership will change that instant calculation in the short term. It sucks for many, but it’s reality and the only answer to any of this.
Is that racist?
It's not about giving blacks something other than their rightful equal place at the starting line.
My grandfather was an alcoholic grave-digger who lost everything between the Dust Bowl and the Great Depression...son of an immigrant cattle rancher who spent the remainder of his life doing odd jobs at barely subsistence level. My grandmother took in laundry and ironed for the more well off in town. By everything I've been told - they were the poorest of the poor in a very small town. Through no fault of their own, natural disaster and market forces put them way behind the 8 ball.
My father joined the military and served his country in Korea, Okinawa and Tokyo followed by a stateside tour as a recruiter for the Air Force for almost a decade. He then went back to college and earned his degree, worked for over three decades (most times doing three jobs because teachers made shit in those days) and put two kids through college. There were no vacations, there were no luxuries like going out to dinner (maybe once or twice per year...maybe - a big deal was getting a root beer float at the local A&W), there were no new cars. Many times the Throbber felt the sting of income inequality when his classmates drove new cars or hit the country club pool or played hoops at the nice gym at the local athletic club or spent their summers at their lake cabins. Or had the better clothes or cool sunglasses or the newest technology like a Walkman.
The Throbber built on that and has a moderately successful career, married a smoking hot version 1, lost everything in the divorce and started over again going to new heights with Mrs. Throbber v2.0.
CSB, I know.
And you want a 'rightful' equal place at the starting line? Which starting line? Where is the personal responsibility and work put in to get to the 'starting line' and overcome whatever adversity is presented as a result of personal decisions?

I just hear that their life is harder. Sure, if you are a child of a single parent your life is going to be harder. That's true if you are black or white. I'd start with telling anyone who wants a better life for them and their kids is not to have kids until they are married, stay married, get a job and make sure your kids get an education. For some reason, I'm not hearing that coming from anyone on the nightly news of the "mostly peaceful protests". If you bring up the black illegitimacy rate that is per se racist in 2020 just as it was when Moynihan wrote about it in 1965. When abolishing the police is touted as a solution the touters ain't serious. When a black male can boast to his peer group about the amount the number of illegitimate kids he has - what is your solution on fixing that? What do I have to do with the death of George Floyd? I'm not a Minnesota democrat. I don't support the police union. I support tuition vouchers allowing those who want to to be able to escape the hell hole of the inner city school system. Destroying a culture is a lot easier than fixing a culture. Especially, when that culture wants to put the blame on someone else.

What's your opinion of the white female executive with her dog in the park that called the cops and said a black man was threatening her life? you've seen the video?MikeDamone said:

It's not a leftist issue. It's not a republican issue. It's an us issue. Lefty Joe Biden is every bit the racist, maybe more so than the guys on the right. The lefty hypocrisy is as real as the right. Trump is a racist. He did the right thing denouncing the Minesota Cops but then he slipped right back into his old ways.MikeDamone said:I have a black friend.

You should take a shit on a cop car and flip off some black cops. Maybe post a black square somewhere.
Or cut the bullshit and start fighting the real issue. Government overreach, power, and the bulldozing of the individual.
Leftist control of the education system. The racism industrial complex, the war on poverty, the mocking of the family structure and fathers, personal responsibility being ridiculed, all major cities being controlled by leftists for years and years. Keep doing that. It's working so well.
Governments don't decide to pull blacks over for driving through white neighborhoods, spoiled white rich entitled bitch calling the cops because a black guy asked her to obey the law and put her dog on a leash is only one of many. Firing that lying bitch is a start. This racist shit is everywhere. Shitting on cop cars is a byproduct of the imbalance. It's fucking gross and disrespectful. That bitch is as much of the problem. In the last 20 years our country suddenly got religion for lesbians and gays. Why have the majority moved so fast protecting them, propagandizing them and leaving our black bro's and sisters behind.
Black soldiers fought and died for our freedom. World War 2. Korea. Nam An old black guy I knew lied about his age to enlist during WW2. Said he was 18 when he was only 16. Landed at Normandy on D-day +1, went inland and faught the Nazis in the hedgerows. He came home and was called a nigger. He was from Alabama and couldn't take a piss in the whiteman's bathroom. He never said shit to me about it because he was old school and sucked it up. He didn't shit on cars. He didn't throw molotov cocktails at cops. He put his life on the line for the freedom we enjoye. He proudly served our country. Makes me sick thinking of what he and others blacks went though. The overwhelming majority of them have taken the whiteman's shit and wore it without fighting back. Today there are still golf clubs that exclude rich black folks and jews from joining their clubs.
I'm late to the party but I'm here. Pointing fingers only shifts the blame.
You’re part of the problem if you think the problem is rich white women.

There is no "real" issue. Everything you outlined is a legitimate issue and they don't go away because systemic racism has the country's collective focus right now.MikeDamone said:I have a black friend.

At the end of the day, the black American experience is vastly different than the experience of every other ethnic group, especially white, and that imbalance of opportunity and experience is fundamentally wrong. It's a pathetic red herring to bring up anything else while black folks are flooding the airwaves explicitly telling you, often in great detail, how their lives are harder in America because of their skin color. If you want to call bullshit on what they're saying, then grow a sack and have at it, but the pussy footing around this problem talking about the "bigger" problems that America has is some cowardly dogshit. -

I agree, single parents, white or black, naturally have a rougher go. You're splitting hairs, though, focusing on illegitimate kids. I'm talking about the bigger picture as a whole. Haven’t seen your response to should black leaders start calling out their own people for bad behavior that isn’t furthering the cause. Should they be doing that more? -
Everyone has a responsibility to work hard if they want to ahead. Yesterday @Bob_C said blacks first need to earn the perception before they can be trusted. So, the earnest black has to prove he's worthy of that trust? Do us earnest whites have to prove we are worthy of trust for the actions of white degenerates and Klan members? How come I can pay an initiation fee and join any golf club but a black with same bank account can't?PurpleThrobber said:Baseman said:

You didn’t answer the questions.Baseman said:
As a whole, whites are born with a head start. You're grandparents survived through the great depression and worked their way out of it. Be honest, did the blacks have the same opportunity? In the 1930's, blacks couldn't take a piss in the same bathrooms as whites. Up until the 1960s, many restaurants wouldn't serve paying black customers. Still today, golf clubs exclude want to be black and jew members, regardless of income or wealth. If that's acceptable, that tells me blacks don't have the job opportunities whites have. It's an uneven playing field. That's bullshit.PurpleThrobber said:
