Oh no but I'm saying Spears probably wouldn't be doing it as much without some of the very enthusiastic members of UW Twitterdnc said:

I'm all for the players and recruits tweeting at potential prospects. It's great for the UW brand.Neighbor2972 said:Spears has been fully indoctrinated into UW twitter, and as much as you guys want to make fun of this stuff, its pretty cool to see
When middle-aged, socially insecure men are tweeting videos of homemade high school football jerseys of 16 year old boys under their Christmas tree, I question its effectiveness -
Maybe? Kalepo was pretty active publicly recruiting other recruits before UW Twitter really took off.Neighbor2972 said:

My stance has always been it can definitely help some and it can absolutely do a lot of damage. Over the long term I don't think it's beneficial for the emotionally unstable to be directly interacting with these kids while representing UW. -
I think instead we should pretend that we are horny scantily clad coeds when we tweet at recruits. I think this could be effective.bananasnblondes said:

It would also make the emo breakdowns more expected.CallMeBigErn said:

I think this will work. -
You’ve come along way... possibly your best work ever. @Emoterman can you please find us a few pics for our burner accounts of fake coedsCallMeBigErn said:

Better idea, we should all post like horny scantily clad coeds everywhere on HH.CallMeBigErn said:

Peer recruiting has always been important. Nobody has ever argued otherwise. “Husky Twitter” has very little, probably nothing, to do with this.
The tweets that say, “Come be the next Budda Baker” or “You remind me of Vita Vea,” “We need you to help us win a natty.” Those type of tweets are good and are flattering to recruits. Gifs of Huskies and “Go Dawgs” are pointless and stupid. There are differences. -
This seems like such common sense advice to me. The cute little huskies, huskies lying in beach chairs, husky driving a red car, etc are some of the dumbest fucking gifs to tweet. You’re better off tweeting a pic of a past hip hop legend, who had zero to do with the program, flashing west side. At least the recruit might think that ones cool. I stick with the classic #WOOF which is great until you #WOOD a #WOOF.RoadDawg55 said:Peer recruiting has always been important.
