So I twitter searched Aubrey Huff. And now know Jeff Crosby?
I do agree that Husky football should not be divisive but instead celebrated something we have in common in this increasingly segmented world we live in
I don't automatically think young possible DAWGS are on one side of the political spectrum or the other and that's the point. Why take the risk? Why risk losing one player. Its just stupid
I made my twitter account politics free and my increased followers are THANKFUL for it
-
I, for one, am looking forward to blaming Jeff Crosby’s political leanings for every big special teams fuck up next season
-
I don't give a shit what tweets he likes in his spare time if our special teams continues to play as well as it did this year.
-
Why even take the slightest of chance, is the urge to like an edgy tweet just too much? This isn't a fucking hobby, be professionalRaceBannon said:So I twitter searched Aubrey Huff. And now know Jeff Crosby?

Welcome to the millennial version of disagreement. Fester in a social media echo chamber with other like-minded dipshits until you all convince yourselves you're morally righteous and then proceed to bitch and moan until someone pays attentiondnc said:

What do you mean by this? Whether they're going about it the wrong way or are right or wrong, it seems their vision of what UW should be is a team (I'm assuming you're referring to UW football and not the university as a whole) that wins at all cost, recruits ANY player that has elite physical talent, hires ANY coach who will do what it takes to win (with a heavy prioritization of recruiting over coaching), and reorganizes the program into an Oregonesque marketing machine for kids that also respects the traditions that the old timers won't let go (you know, so an impossible contradiction). Agree or disagree with this (put me in the latter camp), I don't see how it's inconsistent with the other two motivations on your list.dnc said:

Pretty sure DDY is older than me though. -
The real question is if they would care if Crosby’s political likes and retweets were the opposite. I doubt they would have a problem with it, even tho like Race nobody getting paid and associated with UW football should be doing anything political on Twitter.

I suppose you'd have to define "the opposite." You may be promoting a false dichotomy here.RoadDawg55 said:The real question is if they would care if Crosby’s political likes and retweets were the opposite. Nobody knows who the fuck Crosby is. I didn’t until yesterday. Nobody has any opinion on West Coast football. It might as well not exist to over half the country.dnc said:
We?re trying to get Jeff Crosby fired for liking some bad tweets.1to392831weretaken said:
Wait... what?RoadDawg55 said:Just browsed a bit. I get it, someone associated and paid by UW shouldn’t be liking political and right wing stuff. Guess what else? No high school kid gives a shit or is worried about what that guy’s tweeting about. The UW fans tweeting about it (the everything matters dipshits) are bringing it into consciousness.
(That's Crosby on the left in the last tweet) -
Why is someone looking at the “likes” of a no name assistant coach? Good Lord what a fag.

What does any of this have to do with the Miami Hurricanes?

I follow Jeff Becthold. He works at the UW AD as a media guy. He twats and retwats anti-Trump shit often. His bio also says “proud atheist”.
I give a fuck about either of those things but if these idiots want to attack someone over their personal political or religious views, then go after everyone's and get rid of all that shit in the AD, not just the ones they disagree with. -
Nada @creepycoug . Clempson is the new Miamuh. Even the mighty Cane couldn't win 3 NTs in 4 years.creepycoug said:What does any of this have to do with the Miami Hurricanes?

If Dabo does win, he's the greatest corch of the modern era. Not Urbs. Not Meyer. 3 NTs in 4 years at non blue blood is as good as it gets.RaceBannon said:

Except he has yet to do what Urbs did: win big at more than one stop. That's a lot harder than winning a few in a short time period when you have everything rolling your way. Let's have him quit Clempson and go to, say, Tennessee and win two. That's effectively what Urbs did when going to Floriduh. Then went and build a juggernaut at OSU.YellowSnow said:

Nope: Dabo is not at Urbs level just yet. Pump the brakes Yella. -
I still think that LSU and Orgeron close out the magical season
Look how many times the last decade that Nick had a chance to stack them up. Best was two in a row which is also what Dabo is going for
-
Skrong disagree. I think you overvalue Urb's winning at multiple stops narrative. Florida was less than 10 years removed from NT when Urbs got their and he walked in to Top 5 level talent. Ohio State was like 6 or 7 years removed from it's NT when he got there. Dabo has won multiple NTs at a clear tier II school that hadn't done shit in 3.5 DECADES. He built it from scratch. Urbs never had to do that.creepycoug said:

Nobody has even slowed LSU down all season. I don’t see that changing, but Clemson is good. They will have to score 40+ to win which is also hard against LSU. LSU played much better on defense the 2nd half of the year.

So if they don't like Crosby (who?) likes, then they definitely don't like players like the Bosa brothers. Dennis may be self asphyxiating too much.
I know, I know, it enhances the experience. Get off my back. -
In 2018 I was bitching about Gregory and a friend who would know told me that Crosby was the real issue with the special teams, and that he was the one that should be fired into the sun. She normally doesn't tell me shit, but she hated Crosby and this year said Bush was in over his head.

This belongs multiple places, but here's probably best.

When the Niners drafted Bosa there was SJW concern how he would be received in Baghdad by the Bay. Turns out winning at least Defensive Rookie of the Year if not POY eased some of the painhuskyhooligan said:So if they don't like Crosby (who?) likes, then they definitely don't like players like the Bosa brothers. If Kaep could win a Super Bowl in Seattle I'd be at the airport to welcome him
