Salmon Akhmed

Given this and the fact that Kim, Fetters, and Eklund recently gave him a 95% chance of going pro, I think we might see Pleasant and McGrew couch postings go up soon

Can’t see McGrew leaving, he gets a decent amount of touches. Pleasant, yep.
-
Well no shit. Anyone who thinks he's an early draft pick is as blind as @GrandpaSankey
-
Here's not an early round pick. Still would be smart to leave because his role is diminishing and RB's have short shelf lives. Davis and Newton will be the primary backs next season.
-
Kamari is a Pleasant surprise every time he runs
-
Kamari has ran timid and weak all year. Last night he ran like he did last year: violent and tough. I don't know what was going on with him previously this season, but he was one of a group of players that had me wondering what happened to cause them to regress. I'm glad to see him get back to his ceiling.RaceBannon said:Kamari is a Pleasant surprise every time he runs

McGrew could put up a ton of yards on a lower division or non P5-conference team that plays against shit competition. Could play his way into being the Patriots next RB
-
Sounds like he had some decent coaching. @Crow_T_Robot1to392831weretaken said:

But does he need to take care of his family?BleachedAnusDawg said:Here's not an early round pick. Still would be smart to leave because his role is diminishing and RB's have short shelf lives. Davis and Newton will be the primary backs next season.

No, he sucks. He runs really high and has no power or wiggle.RaceBannon said:Kamari is a Pleasant surprise every time he runs

Seems like Ahmed is staying, but honestly I don't want him taking away Cam Davis carries. The new OC needs a specific plan for him.
I would also want Sunday in front of either McGrew or Pleasant, both of whom should go. -
For some reason McGrew reminds me of a Poor Man McCaffrey..,.or a smaller John Riggins
-
BTW, has FFF tweeted a tirade about the proper spelling of Salvon Ahmed's name?
Was watching the news (not komo4 buttfucker) last night and the sports reporter pronounced it "Savvin Eh-meed". -
I don’t understand the hate toward Ahmed’s game.
That said, Dick Newton is my favorite offensive player. Talk about an alpha and having fun and leading with action. Damn. -

Too many zero yard runs. Limited vision. Can't really break tackles. Electric speed but you have to acknowledge the shortcomings, it's not a black or white issue.Beno4Life said:I don’t understand the hate toward Ahmed’s game.

He is not in the same league as Polk, Sankey, or Gaskin, and that's okay, but it is what it is. -
Everyone seems to hate all of our backs

I don't hate him. He's ok. We've seen 5 other backs who were better over the past 12 years or so. Ahmed would be more useful if he could catch out of the backfield.Beno4Life said:I don’t understand the hate toward Ahmed’s game.

With Ahmed, Newton, Davis, and whoever else, I’m scared we will have 4 decent RB’s instead of 1-2 really good ones. Someone needs to get most of the carries.

It is arguably hubris that you even wrote what you wrote relative to those guysms; exspecially Gaskins.Kingdome_Urinals said:

I never said he’s an early round pick. RB don’t matter in the NFL lol. He was one of the best backs in the conference this year just like I said he would be.creepycoug said:

I’m hearing running back coaching in college doesn’t matter because all the players reach their ceiling in high school and never get any better.RaceBannon said:Everyone seems to hate all of our backs

I think BTP was more right than wrong about Salvon.
He wasn't MMFG but he was a good Pac12 back. -
