Talks a strong game in privacy, data collection, etc in other areas. Not so much with lawful exercise of 2A.
As I've said, you want to make substantive changes to legal gun ownership, do it honestly and propose an amendment to alter. Eroding it piecemeal is not good, not just for 2A but for the Constitution and civil rights broadly. -

Telling me he doesn't mean it makes it worse.
My point is he won’t prioritize it.
I mean, Trump promised a lot of things, and he hasn’t even attempted some of them. RIP Infrastructure Week... -
Of course, Trump has said lots of things that didn't happen. I doubt that decreased your opposition to him just because he couldn't pull it off.ThomasFremont said:

He promised cheap healthcare for everyone.
He said he was gonna pull out of the ME.
These are all things I support that he said he would do.

I’m judging based on his actions. I’m not giving him credit for inheriting a strong economy and keeping the train on the track, which is his only “achievement” that I support. Although I hate strong economies, just ask @PGOS -
Shame. Yang's got some really good ideas, and he does this cool thing where he uses logic and statistics to create his policies. Which is weird, I'm pretty sure you're not allowed to be rational with your policies. He's a solid 5th place (or 6th if Bloomberg is in front) somehow, but it seems the establishment wing has decided Klobuchar is the way to go since their Mayor Pete attempt fell through. 2nd last on the debate stage in polling last night, 2nd most speaking time. Ridiculous. They tried their hardest to pump up a white centrist, failed, and now they're doing it again. Party of diversity!GrundleStiltzkin said:
It's important enough to have a lengthy policy statement on his campaign site. I mean, yeah, I don't think it's important to him either. But I've learned not to trust politicians on things important to me, especially when they have a public position contrary to my values.ThomasFremont said:

I mean, even with total control of Congress, we’ve had 3 straight admins struggle to get ONE major change through. For him it’s UBI. Not guns. Beto is proof that being an anti-gun nut isn’t viable.
All meaningless, of course. Yang's going nowhere in this race, which is too bad.
Yang makes a very valid point when he says Trump is a symptom of American issues, not himself the issue. He's the only one on the stage even pointing out non-Trump problems.
Last night, here is how the debate went. Yes, I watched some of it.
Biden: Impeach him!
Bernie: Duh!
Warren: It's just so unforgivable, impeach!
Pete: Man my wine cave agrees Trump is just unacceptable!
Steyer: I started impeachment!
Klobuchar: Trump must be handled, and I beat him in Minnesota based on polls so vote for me!
Yang: How about we stop obsessing over Trump and start problem solving?
Everyone on stage: *confused looks*
Blaming Trump for literally everything under the sun is stupid. But the DNC and MSNBC don't like that way of thinking I guess. Time to raise the requirements so Yang doesn't qualify but Klobuchar does despite Yang polling markedly higher nationally! -

The amount of political capital it would take to fight that fight would be insane. And potentially end in total failure. 2A has bipartisan support.
Besides, his main issue is the economy. I doubt gun legislation is even in his top 25 policy wish list. -

Gosh I wonder what kind of laws they're thinking about. -
Governor Blackface already walked back the whole "confiscate the AR's" thing when they realized there would be armed revolt in the hills. But ban on future sales of ARs, red flag law, and a ban on high capacity magazines are foregone conclusions. Virginia will become California overnight. Sad day for freedom. Great day for tyranny.Sledog said:

If the government was tyrannical to its people, the people could usurp it. By force, if necessary.
The ultimate get your shit together/electoral college, so to speak.
