how do you alt-right fringe high school educated guys rationalize this one?

You have to concede a quid pro quo was worked, but let me guess, it had nothing to do with the president right? It was a renegade lawyer only acting on his own? Correct?

Another partisan lying piece of shit. just like Schitt leaking this out when it's already been debunked. How do you feel being so stupid to have not even looked at anything but believing what Schitt says when he's a proven liar? -
Trumptards in September: The Ukraine phone call was perfect and totally appropriate. Whistleblower is fake news!ApostleofGrief said:https://intelligence.house.gov/news/documentsingle.aspx?DocumentID=785

Trumptards in October: Okay maybe Trump tried to pressure Ukraine to investigate Biden but there was no quid pro quo!
Trumptards in November: Okay there was quid pro quo. Get over it! -

Weird how they are doing this with press releases and not by just releasing all the transcripts or holding the interviews in public. Like how Schiff was lying yesterday by claiming that Republicans were free to question the witnesses during the interviews while leaving out the fact that he and the Rats had veto power over what questions they could ask.Sledog said:https://abc7chicago.com/conflicts-between-sondland-other-witnesses-in-impeachment-probe-raise-questions-/5660881/

“It is clear from their testimony that, in exchange for the statement, President Trump would award the Ukrainian president with a highly coveted White House meeting and, later, with millions of dollars in critical military aid being withheld. Ambassador Sondland called this changing U.S. policy toward Ukraine a ‘continuum’ that became ever more ‘insidious’ over time. -
I think he should be impeached. I’m with the HondoBros
If not for this, then for other stuff he probably did.
It’s like when a bad guy gets executed for a crime it was found later he didn’t commit. Oh well, he was a horrible human anyhow. -

It appears the quid pro quo was for a meeting, not a demand for investigation. No wonder Schiff and Company wanted all of this behind closed doors for over a month.

Only one can be proven. Or is the TDS so strong that burden of proof just doesn’t matter anymore?ApostleofGrief said:

I think you mean that if trump didn't say "no aid money unless you investigate"? It's a stupid argument, since his actions were known to Ukraine soon enough and actions speak louder than words. It wasn't all on the same day, but over the course of a short window of a couple of months when this happened.salemcoog said:

How is this materially different than Biden's "no aid if you DON'T stop investigating"?ApostleofGrief said:

There it is. The clockwork shill now admits quid pro quo is okay as long it's his side doing it. So why did Trump repeatedly scream "NO QUID PRO QUO!" for the last couple months?pawz said:

Biden actually said it, and they really did fire the investigator before they money was released? Just a guess.pawz said:

Remember when Gay Bob said if Trump tried to extort Ukraine with a quid pro quo that he'd be in trouble?

Remember when you made this claim a few weeks back and showed that you were a liar who was misrepresenting what I actually said?insinceredawg said:Remember when Gay Bob said if Trump tried to extort Ukraine with a quid pro quo that he'd be in trouble?

The GOP is only left with the flimsy rationalization of "fighting corruption." Never mind it's a political opponent ahead of Trump in the polls! For which there is no evidence whatsoever of corruption.
-
and as usual you misrepresent the US position in regard to Shokin. The new prosecutor actually progressed on the once dormant investigation into the CEO of Burisma. Don't let the facts bog you down though....pawz said:

I thought that investigating corruption and the Ukraine's role in the 2016 election was in our national interest?GDS said:
