Putting out an article with the sole purpose of saying Fuck You to UW reads like an emotional overreaction to something. "Sounds like you care," in recruit form, basically. UW's definitely in a shitty spot right now, but it's not the worst spot. I'd rather be here than given a pity spot in a top 6 (s/o Cuog) when in reality the kid is apathetic and never seriously considering coming here.
It's like a girl saying she fucking hates you and never wants to talk to you ever again after a fight ... in reality you're going to beat again in a week or two once the dust settles. It sucks in the moment, but you jerk off in the interim and let her get over it. Compare that to going on a couple dates, it's okay but you never click, maybe get a courtesy kiss, but it's obviously not going anywhere.
You can flip an emotional reaction because there's something to work with; you're dead in the water once apathy sets in. -

As for the comment of “wanting to be noticed” that’s funny ... I don’t claim to be a recruiting expert in any way, shape, or form ... I have far bigger things going on in life right now to even consider thinking in those terms
The idea of Smalls waiting until closer to the first Signing Day always seemed like the most logical ... happy it’s done with early -
Joey Thomas was supportive of Smalls if he wanted to go to UW and it some false rumor that the dawgman staff spreads. Joey was just on UW campus talking with the coaches this past spring.animate said:

I had also heard from someone inside the program that the feeling was that Smalls was in the bag
I had a feeling this would go this way for the same reasons Baseman described beginning when he and Huard became public BFFs. It wasnt tea leaves or inside info. It was just optimism spurred by the changed situation.

Yeah, a lot of what I posted if you have followed Smalls recruitment—and it’s hard not to with the great work the TBSs have done staying on top of things—aren’t earth shattering revelations.
The biggest key for Smalls signing is when he called UW and apologized for handled himself, not something you’d expect from a 5 star rated teenager every program nationally has slobbered over at one point or another.
Despite what Joey Thomas might say, he despises UW for what “happened to him” twenty years ago. he’s pissed Pete dropped T. Harrison, he advanced the narrative the OKG moniker was elitist and non-inclusive. -

I’m still not a fan of Joey Thomas. “The disrespect is unreal” when Smalls was ranked top 5 in his class. That’s Smalls’ head coach in high school. Smalls high school coach is the last person that should be pumping him up with that kind of bullshit.
