Not at all what I expected. He plays violently. I expected quiet intensity kind of like Forest Whitaker in Fast Times at Ridgemont High but instead he's smiley and jovial.

Respectful. Check. Grounded. Check. Sense of humor. Check. Doesn't take himself too seriously. Check. Can give a cogent response when asked. Check. Violent destroyer of people on field. Check.
This is pretty much the dream recruit for B4L.
Also, kids are so good at this shit now. Imagine most of us 20-30 years ago in HS trying to give an interview. Hahahahhaha.
"So, um, like, um, welp, ahhh, can you buy me beer?"
On the recruiting front, Banks has already taken an official visit to Oklahoma and his next official trip will be to Washington.
“I’m going there September 28 for the USC game,” Banks said. “I really like Washington a lot, they’re gaining a lot of steam in my recruitment and are now recruiting me harder than anyone. Coach Pete (Petersen) and coach K (Kwiatkowski) are hitting me up all the time and I have a really good relationship with the coaching staff.
“They’re not just connecting with me but my family as well and that’s important to me. I’ve already visited before and I love the family vibe there. Coach Pete’s Built For Life Program is great and really fits me and I love the fan base too so Washington is a school I’m really high on right now.”
Scheme wise, Banks said Washington likes him at middle ‘backer.
“They want to move me around but middle linebacker is where I’ll start out,” Banks said. “They like my ability to rush the passer so they like me as an edge rusher too. They feel I’m a versatile player and want to take advantage of that but middle ‘backer will me the main position.
“Alabama likes me as an inside ‘backer too and I’m trying to set up my official visit there. We’ve talked about the LSU game as a visit date but I need to make sure that matches up with my schedule. That was my most recent unofficial visit and I loved it there. It’s Alabama, they have a great football program and great defenses every year so there is a lot to like about them.”
Ohio State and Oklahoma round out Banks’ final four.
“I visited Ohio State earlier this year and I’m trying to set up an official visit there as well,” Banks said. “I’ve been talking a lot with coach Day and coach Washington and I definitely want to take an official visit during the season so hopefully we can lock in a date. I loved it there on my unofficial visit, they have a great staff and great tradition.
“I’m not talking as much with Oklahoma as the other schools but I still have a lot of love for their program. I loved my visit, thats’ a great school and I really clicked well with the guys on the team. They like me as a hybrid defensive end/outside linebacker and feel I could make a lot of plays in their new defense.
“As for a commitment timeframe, I think I could be ready to do something by middle of the season. It depends on when I take my visits but sometime around the middle of the season seems about right, it could end up being later so I’m just going to play things out and see what happens.”

I will not be there. Flights from the armpit of FL are expensive and I’m a pour because TOG doesn’t work and I have 4 money eating heathens.
Well... remove them and I’m still a pour.
