Broh, anything under a variance of 5% probably isn't going to matter. Also, your analog isn't going to respond as quickly as the digital + is more apt to variance with heat & cold.Swaye said:
I tried to dial my analog in off the digital, and it was fine, until the next day when it was 3% off. Dialed it in again. Next day it had gone 4% the OTHER direction. WTF over?UW_Doog_Bot said:
You inspired me to bother with a digital hygrometer. Turns out my analog was a "whopping" 5% off. I added some water.Swaye said:Shit has stabilized at a nice 72% and I am letting it rest for a day before introducing the stogies. I knew everyone would want an update.
Wonder if Rolex makes a hygrometer so I can have an accurate one in analog? -
Yeah but I gave it a full day to settle in after adjustment. A day each tim. If that fucker can;t find center in a day, then it should get buttfucked by an AIDS monkey.UW_Doog_Bot said:

Gosh you guys are fruity. Real men don't need humidors.UW_Doog_Bot said:

It could be broke from transport, it could be just not good. It's never going to be a swiss time piece. I'd recommend not futzing with it a ton. It's for a "general" reading. I'd say check it every so often and see if it's within 5-10% or if it veers significantly off.Swaye said:

If you really felt the "need" you could buy a better analog and swap them. Then you risk fucking the thing up though. It depends on how much you really want style+accuracy etc.UW_Doog_Bot said:

Or just get a smaller digital hygrometer, mine's 1/4 the size of the one you bought and cost $7.
Or buy a bigger and better humidor and keep that one in a desk for "short term" storage or convenience when you need one "handy".

Nah man I am goign to rock this humidor and my huge ass digital hygrometer. I can still get like 30+ stogies in there even with it present. But yeah, if I ever go big baller style with the cigars then I will FS up and get some uber 1000 dollar humidor and then use this one as my desktop one. In the trailer park. I am considered the style icon of the Roll Inn Trailer Court.UW_Doog_Bot said:

Weather getting better ... holiday next week ... having friends over for fight night on July 6 ... had to re-stock ... cigar porn

Not sure how many of you order online, but I usually use Famous Smoke or Cigar.com ... but ... heard good things about foxcigar.com and decided to check them out. They are known for throwing freebies in with their orders and they ship out of Arizona, so things could arrive a little bit fresher if you're on the west coast.
Also, reddit is always good for a variety of suggestions: https://www.reddit.com/r/cigars/

@DHD
Thanks for the tip. I just ordered a Partagas Legend 6 pack and a Illusione 12 stogie sampler pack from foxcigars. With the 10 I already have from the local vape shitbox, that will pretty well fill up the humidor. Free shipping as well, and the Partagas Legend kit even came with a whiskey glass. Good pro tip. Will report in on freshness (like I know wtf I am talking about) when the package arrives.
