recruiting texas? yeah ... check. but still not sure why peterman and co apparently determines texas as a priority recruiting area based on their benefit/cost analysis.

The Texas thing is just fucking baffling. There is already a tried and true formula for recruiting at UW and this ain't fucking it. What a huge waste of time and resources. Not to mention the further alienation of local/west coast recruits. Breaks every fucking rule in the cost benefit analysis.

I don't necessarily mind wading into Texas to try to build a heavier presence. But what makes it baffling is that's it's seemingly at the expense of local recruits who we're still slow playing.
