I’m under 40. Godfather I and || are superior to casino and good fellas. As @creepycoug pointed out it’s a deeper plot and character development. I didn't care much for the classic movies of the 40s and 50s. It doesn't mean that they sucked.
The 80s to now have brought us to quick edits and short movies. 90 minutes can seem long today
