B ) he’ll leave for Clemson, or another high profile job when it opens up.
So which is it? I like DaBORE but if the roles were reversed we would be happy with the hire. 247 has him as the #1 recruiter in the country for 2022. All I ask is we keep our in state talent. I hope he doesn’t bounce for another big job because at probably means our shit has been pushed in. I want him to have a long, unsuccessful 8-4 tenure at Oregon.

He could be good, I guess? He isn't immediately memeworthy like Wilcox or Chip? Best I can do if I'm trying. That's a huge unknown though, and of course Kirby is unarguably the de facto DC at UGA. I would be horrified at the hire if this was UW given the precedent we have with similarly profiled HCs, but Oregon usually does OK in my lifetime so I'm sure they'll continue winning.
Could be bad or good, but it’s certainly not the hire most every Oregon fan and ex player was pining for. Anyone saying otherwise is lying. They shouldn’t have to be taking a risk with their supposed status, but clearly did. Especially with a DC that had a HC who helped to call the defense. Would expect they will go the SEC route with a 2 million dollar OC. It’s going to be a project for him despite the talent on the roster.

Good hire by Oregon. Like most coaches tho, he won’t be as good as they want. And despite it being kind of doogish, he probably will leave if he has success. The good part about that for Oregon fans, is that it likely won’t happen unless he’s successful at Oregon.
