It might work. I feel like our? situation improves since he's a rookie CEO. ALSO Fuck "elite" level experience. You could say that about any coach in the NFL.

My #1 was Kiffin. But if I get Lanning over Chip, Wilcox, and shitaki, I’d take that 100% of the time. If Lanning can recruit 80-90% of Mario’s level, the Ducks made a good hire. He just needs to make a good OC hire and let him run it.

Dabo hasn't done to badly at Clempson. Although he spent about 16 years in the assistant ranks.

This guy could work out, but his circumstances would not be exciting to me. Cross-country with no ties here, unless I'm mistaken. Maybe UO knows this is a stop-gap and figures in 3 years they'll be making another hire regardless of how he pans out. -
He coached 2 years at ASU, so he isn’t a complete stranger to the west coast. But the guy is a grinder, and that follows you everywhere. The Oregon brand will get him into any door. He just needs to sell it.BleachedAnusDawg said:
