Welcome to the Hardcore Husky Forums. Folks who are well-known in Cyberland and not that dumb.

I went to the game and this is what I observed

1. It rained.
2. Oregon clearly gives a shit about this rivalry and it is a rivalry even though I don't understand why they would think that.
3. The crowd that was there wanted this game badly. The lunatic fringe are the people buying tickets and not selling them to Ducks, Jen, you dipshit.
4. I counted two Go Huskies chants, my dad(s) thought there might have been a third that didn't take off.
5. After the fucking decision to punt on 4th and 10 I looked at an organization that cares about winning and another that doesn't and I felt bad for the players that committed to UW with the goal of playing for PAC-12 championships and beyond and instead they are a part of a rudderless outfit that has no leadership and is wasting their talents. Fuck this AD.

Yeah was surprised to hear so few chants... even by us.

Even after winning 15 of last 17 most in blowout fashion, their team and fans are still very motivated to beat UW and that's still why it's called Husky Hate Week the second the game before ours is over which they can't wait to get to.

I'm glad Phil Knight didn't decide to buy every avail ticket on the secondary market and give them to any Zero fan that wanted them, or it would have been almost a 50/50 crowd minus student section and they would have had a Green Out in their Rivals Stadium.

Would that still qualify us for "The Greatest Setting" award, and are we still in the doog "big boy program" club of CFB if that happens.....

It used to piss me off so much when we lost to you, but now I am unfazed by it. If a Husky fan bitches about Huck the Fuskies, W down, dancing on the W, talkin shit, taking over Husky Stadium etc to me, I just tell them if you don't like it, give money to the AD, show up be loud, and hope your team starts winning the games on the field.

I get weather and record, but tonight's attendance for a rivalry game was embarrassing.

The call to punt really wasn't that bad of an idea. If you get stuffed there Oregon runs the clock way down and kicks a FG at worst and it's 100% over. If the punt is executed there is at least a chance left if Oregon goes 3 and out.

I get it looked soft and when it turned into a safety it was knives out. Overall it wasn't a bad decision.

The decision to punt was 100% to say “we kept it kinda close at least”.

    Pure cowardice

100%. It was making a decision for selfish purposes rather than anything it takes to win on behalf of the team, the program.
Anyone happen to notice how animated Lake was on the goal line play as time was expiring after the 54th review? Pretty obvious that was Lake thinking about Lake.

There are a lot of likeable players on this team but the staff is failing them no doubt,

Halfway competent coaching this year with this soft schedule in this soft conference goes 10-2 and plays Utah for the title.
Still lose to Montana and Michigan, though.

It didn't just look soft, it was surrender. Oregon was averaging about 6 yards a carry up the middle. WTF are you talking about?
Don't understand estimate the chance that Moorhead would have called for a backwards pass and the ball is scooped and scored. He tried earlier.
