The backlash to him is annoying. Everybody listened. It was fun.
RIP
Exactly this site lives for failure and their haters couldnt wait for Dennis and Coker to tap out so they could beat their chest, but lets not pretend anyone here has a bullet proof record with hawt takes on coaches or croots
DDY and Coker were fun. We're they dawg fortune tellers or the best face for the fan base? Meh but at least they had an opinion beyond tits are great and fire everyone.
The highest numbers this site has ever had were in August 2019 heading into what we thought was going to be an incredible season.
The last I heard from DDY was in Aug 2019, when he texted me and wanted to know where to donate. Then I never heard from him again.
I missed him and Coker and enjoyed having them here, but I'm over it.
You guys finished second in the NW Championship in 2019 at least.
I might be in the minority that I loved the podcasts were like 3+ hours sometimes but that might say more about me and my mental state than anything else. Let's turn the Hardcore Husky Podcast into that without all the Kentrall Love love. I liked DDY. In a world where most Husky media is either too doogish, too by the numbers or too uninteresting to really command listening too, he stood out. Also I can't listen to poor people regular radio. Sorry.
My post in this thread reminds me of the recent "Have you ever been happy after a Jimmy Lake win?" poll. I'm starting to think I've just never been happy...
It was like living in his mind that was on display on Derek's front lawn ... added a ton of entertainment to this site. Once that was over we all actually had to deal with the issue of football ... and we know what a shit show that has been lately. Depressing.
We do the jilted lover over DDY on practically a monthly basis. He should just come back. He loves attention from the message boards and always has. People here liked him a lot. He would take a little shit, but it would be back to normal in very little time.

So much truth packed in those five little sentences.

100% concur and it was a talking point for us during the week. I have a jawb where podcasts are a big part of my day and I certainly miss there’s. If it’s Husky content I want to hear it. The more the merrier. Especially when the Honks have completely jumped the shark.
@Tequilla - you two are in contact, I assume. So what’s the deal? Why doesn’t DDY swallow his pride and come back?
That whole bdtw thing flamed out spectacularly. Time to let it go. And I can’t imagine DDY is just done having hot takes about UW football.
I would love — seriously love — a DDY rant about John Don’s offense.
I think a lot of you make a lot more out of things than they are
Simply put, making a GOOD pod that makes you THINK and CARE is a lot more work than just hitting record and flapping the gums
My biggest takeaway from podding at the TSIO peak when we were producing regular content how much work goes into setting a show sheet, developing what you want to talk about with details, etc and to do all of that in a way that sounds relatively organic and unrehearsed
It’s a boring answer but a good chunk of why podding has largely vanished is not having the time to devote to it. It really is a time commitment to doing it well and if there’s one thing that we always tried to do was produce good content
As for the BDTW stuff others can speak to that better than I can as it was never really anything I was particularly involved with. I can’t speak for what those heavily tied to BDTW think or do … I’m sure they have their reasons.

Starts making you feel sick in no time.
And it was a doozy.

Are you a descendent of @Confucius?

I found it funny
