I hate how quickly the Doogs have given up on expectations and are perfectly content with us battling the likes of Eastern, Arizona, and WSU for recruits now. Jimmy is recruiting at a level we haven't seen since the Willingham years. We're staring at 7-5 in our near future and when Jimmy inevitably gets fired the cupboard will be bare for his successor.
The one redeeming thing about life today is that with the transfer portal you can turn over a shitty roster really quickly if we ever get to the bottomed out spot where Jimmy gets fired
If Jimmy has two good to great seasons with what is here …
He’s looking to jump to the NFL
Sure
He sucks he can't recruit and he's lazy
Fast track to the NFL
You people
I’m not sure he is lazy. But I think it’s clear he hates recruiting. When he has forced himself to do it in the past he was quite good at it. Just not as the head coach.

That’s a bad take … even by your standards
Thanks for the compliment
I just repeated your take
Jimmy talks about the NFL every chance he gets
His disdain for recruiting appear very obvious at this point … he’s surrounded himself with a staff that effectively can’t recruit either on the whole (there are a few exceptions)
There have been upticks in college coaches going to the NFL in recent years
With a few successful years here, wouldn’t be shocking at all to see him getting interviews

Jimmy's magic in the portal shows he's ready for free agency in the NFL. Why waste time with recruiting when the draft does it all for you?
I'm pretty familiar with the talking points after 23 times
It's still just like your opinion man and I don't agree
At all
I'd love to have a coach that the NFL wants. James was the last one we had. Rick seemed to think he was but he wasn't
Nobody in the NFL cares about or is looking at Jimmy to be their head coach. Jimmy can dream all he wants but it isn't happening.
I see Jimmy's career at UW playing out in 1 of 2 ways
1- UW wins the pac 12 this year on the back of Otton, Kirkland, McDuffie, or whoever else. Jimmy actually gets serious about recruiting in January for show and then jumps ship to a HC job at a school like USC.
2- UW underperformed. Jimmy continues to ride out his HC gig for a disappointing 3 or 4 years, gets fired, and takes a DC job at a school like USC

Considering Jimmy Sexton is his agent, if we the Pac-12, I expect him to finesse Jen for a contract extension by throwing his name around for other head coaching positions.
How you think we do this year @sonics1993 ? Our schedule is beyond favorable, Oregon's is not. I like us a lot this year and then is gets dicey next year cause we are losing a lot.

I don't think he'd be very good. It's hard and winning isn't everything its the only thing
Looks like you and I agree
