Is he a portal transfer though? I thought he requested Florida release him which makes him a recruiting prospect again. If that’s the case, signing day is still a couple weeks out.BleachedAnusDawg said:This kid has to make a decision by Wednesday, right? Thought I read somewhere that the portal closes in a couple days.

Florida hasn't released him from his NLI, too, so he needs that first before he can sign by February (at the earliest)CFetters_Nacho_Lover said:

FWIW: Cooper Petanga (former UW and UO head of recruiting) threw out a prediction on his podcast that Rashada would end up at either Cal or UW -
We always lose to CalNEsnake12 said:

If we lose to Cal im never returning to the recruiting ever againNEsnake12 said:

If he’s into sitting for a year and learning then UW makes sense. If his goal is to run the Bear Raid as a true freshman then Cal is the call. Just not sure what his short and long term goals are.

Jaden Rashada dipping on 9 mil Miami to go to 13 mil Florida only to end up at 400k UW or ?????? Cal is laugh out loud funny. With that being said he won’t be coming to UW, but still. Sub K is on it spamming Steve Wiltfongs twitter post about it so UW is in good hands.

Regardless of the actual numbers, it's likely that this scenario makes little financial sense. Unless he has a special honey here at UW or his barber resides in the U district ... he ain't comingEdwin_Bambino said:Jaden Rashada dipping on 9 mil Miami to go to 13 mil Florida only to end up at 400k UW or ?????? I mean he’s kind of fucked from an NIL perspective, his value isn’t nearly what it was a few months ago, most of the teams that would have thrown fat bags at him driving up the price are set in the QB market for this year. But given his family seems set on going to the highest NIL destination possible I would be surprised if he ended up at UW.animate said:

I thought it was a well established fact that QBs come to UW to get paid, not developed -
One advantage that UW has in this situation is being on the quarter system instead of semester system. Rashada can enroll in March and still do spring ball.
Looking at the other schools being mentioned… Cal does semesters and he’d have to be enrolled already to qualify for spring ball. Miami is semesters and has their deadline to register a week from today. ASU has online classes starting late that he could take and get in fine.
So based off that, if we don’t see him make a quick move to either Miami or Cal in the next couple of days, it’ll be either UW or ASU. Barring a dark horse program dropping an NIL bag -

Apparently he's visiting Colorado this weekend. Would Coach Prime choose him over his own son?

Rashada's high school teammate, Rashid Williams, is headed to UW.
Same goes for another Taeshaun Lyons, another 4-star WR from the East Bay.
Certainly wouldn't be coming to UW not knowing anybody in the recruiting class. -
I like it just for the message it sends regarding what UW paysinsinceredawg said:

With the guys that came back you can't deny UW is in it to win it -

Is it sad that I actually give him some credit for admitting that he doesn't know shit? I can just as easily picture "I'm hearing some crazy rumors regarding his recruitment, but unfortunately I can't say it here or I'd be sleeping with the fishes. Some good, some bad, EWIWBI."Geevis_and_Butthead said:Eklund is all over it

This recruitment smells of Jack Yary.
