Nobody’s mentioned Ammo yet. I have an order being delivered, tomorrow, that I ordered in January.
You just want it more. Respeck. I gave up and will let the guns sit idle until this passes.
I’m stockpiling under the assumption that this may not pass. In two years I’m hoping to be ridiculed for my overreaction.
I’d hate to be someone right now who’s favorite hobby is target shooting (other than maybe shells for clays and what not). Just a huge pain in the ass.
Hey don't underestimate those dogs. They can fucking dig. Just go have a beer, leave the dog alone, come back in an hour, and watch that ship break loose!
The number one draw back to being in Hawaii is not living amongst the hate of the Hawaiians (as unsophisticated travelers may believe). It is the logistics of getting your hands on everything that is not produced here.
Thanks to the fucking pandemic, a resident's supply closet now needs to have toilet paper, spam, rice, collapsible water containers, water filters, masks, rubbing alcohol (fuck hand sanitizer), bleach and clorax wipes. Not just some, but a supply that will last several months. You simply couldn't buy that shit for the better part of six months. Just make sure to rotate your stock. Add to the back, take from the front.
Ignore this and every fucking hurricane/tsunami scare or supply chain disruption leaves you simply doing without life's daily necessities. Most container ships travel painfully slowly.
Its just wonderful for the outside world to be reminded that logistics do, indeed, fucking matter.

Is the US not welcome there? The Army Corps of Engineers could have that out by lunch
There's a ton of these

Just in time delivery. Fuck that noise.
Try again.
You're welcome.
Mostly getting shit in. Getting containers off the port is a fucking nightmare right now
It's easily adding 2-3 weeks.
Plus one of the ships that had our stuff lost like 700 containers. By the time they figure out that shit we might as well just reorder.
