I guess national elections do have consequences. Who knew?

I still haven’t noticed anything different. Life is still the same. The news stories have changed a little bit, but I didn’t care about them to begin with because they are mostly sensationalized bullshit.

But the kids in cages! And China!
The stories have changed a lot but you've never cared much so whatever

As you get a little older you'll see the pattern

With a Democrat its cool don't worry go back to sleep

GOP is the end of the world as we know it

One has the media amplifying it the other is a bunch of idiots here

China is real threat though. But it will be your problem not mine

Good luck the rest of the way
China's been frog boiling us for a long time. And in many ways they are a far more formidable geopolitical threat than the USSR ever was- e.g., more people, smarter people, successful economy. Furthermore, in spite of Trump sounding the alarm - which he was correct to do - I don't know that we are really in a better pace vis-a-vis "the Rise of China" than 4 years earlier. N. Korea still has the bomb, the trade deficit is still large, and so on and so on.

I'm not going to get into hysterics because their guys shit talked us in Alaska. I'll pay attention to how the Biden trade policies play out, military technology (e.g., what are we doing about China's asymmetrical military capabilities) what our allies are doing, etc.

You're right though, this is Roadie's problem and you'll be long gone before we know who won.
Fair but we know where the Biden trade policies will fall. In china's favor. Dude has a track record

The volume of hysteria over Trump trade policies spoke volumes
But it's possible (I'd argue it's more likely than not) that the sands have shifted and that the days of the United States bending over to accommodate China is no longer politically feasible regardless of which party controls the WH.
And sadly I've seen nothing to indicate this

The left wants what the left wants

I was listening to a couple of Vox liberals shoot the shit about China today. They very unequivocally recognized that the Trump admin changed the tone on China. Viewing them as an existential threat and #1 enemy is now a bipartisan affair.

You won't get the MSM vindication on that - it'll be a slow and subtle acknowledgment. But the position has in fact changed.
Bullshit, a little more than a year ago Biden said China wasn't our enemy. All the fucking hand-wringing over Trump calling it the "China" virus is done precisely because most on the left still want to kiss China's ass. China is now using the left's dishonest "racism" criticism against us and most of the people in the Rat party I see, are agreeing with China.

Do you know how much testosterone it takes to make 677 whinybitch posts in the Tug every month?

I'm guessing zero, but I bet Gaybob has a different take.

There is no "best" Flea. Guy is a worthless fucking moron who never adds anything. He isn't funny, he is dumb as dogshit, and whenever he posts you can guarantee that nothing interesting or informative or insightful will be added to the discussion. But hey, he and Yellow are good fishing buddies so lets keep the dumbshit around.

Oh Bob, how wrong you are.

Angry @dflea is fucking hilarious when he's trying to be serious or tough.

It's when @dflea thinks he's funny and types his own LOLs all over when he's at his worst and, well, sad.

The fishing stuff is rest-stop quality faggotry, no doubt. But every man has his vices.
You have to be a HOF level cockgobbler to have this take.

    Jesus.

Next time you're playing charter boat retard, you should drown yourself. Our get the deckhand to do it so he doesn't have to watch you reel backward.
The activity of fishing isn't the faggotry.

The faggotry is your constant boner-popping & dick-measuring about it.

And that is museum quality faggotry, right there.
Sure, Tyee ticket Foster guy with 4 houses.

    You reel backward.
Parading your inferiority complex is no way to impress, @dflea. But as you will.
This is that projecting thing you do when you pretend that you telling us about your Tyee tickets, your 4 houses, and your Alaska charter boat trip is an indication that I have an inferiority complex, right?

    OK!

Stacking up posts from separate threads months or years apart is obsessive, Fishboy.

Kind of like your other obsession:

It's time for an intervention, @dflea.

I'm totally shocked that Flea didn't address anything Tucker said, nor the topic he refers to. You'd think Yellow's good fishing buddy would have an intelligent and high character response to this.

Angry @dflea is always the best @dflea.

And @dflea mocking others as "old men yelling at clouds" is the greatest example of projection and irony I've ever seen.

You know what he adds, Bob? @dflea pays your freight here - that's what. $129.00, year after year to keep the lights on at HCH and and give you place to call home when no one else would. We? took you in - not the other way around, Counselor. If he wants to shit post (not my preferred style usually) and get your goat so be it.

Plus he's a damn good steelheading guide, which is worth it's weight in gold. If I have to take shit in the Tug for that, then so be it.
Hmm, I pay the standard supporter fee twice a year. Is that not enough "freight" for me here? How about this I'll pay as much as you do if I'm given the right to edit your fucking posts. Deal?

Btw Flea, did you notice how your good buddy didn't deny that you're a fucking moron. You might want to re-evaluate the quality of the "friendship" you have with Yellow. Seems mostly transactional. You pay your $129 and you can stay his "friend." Now that's a quality friendship.
You're free to donate as little or as much as you would like to support the site. My objective here, however, is that I want you to appreciate how this place works. Our unfettered bored and Tug freedom of speech hinges largely on Derek keeping this an ad free site; and voluntary donations are needed to keep the lights on. Flea has donated a lot over the years to subsidize a place which obviously provides you with much enjoyment.

Re: the the editing of your post, that was in response to what I viewed as unnecessary spamming of the bored to get a rise out of me, and I decided to be dick back in kind. I offered my mea culpa and will leave it at that. Congrats, Bob, you're the first guy in the history of HCH to get me to do that in 2 + years of my being a mod.

Regarding my contributions to Hardcore Husky, it's goes far beyond my Wam level membership each year. That's why name is on the building.
And how can you really put a price on the meaningful friendships you've made here.

I've donated the entire time I've been here. If Derek needs more $$$ to keep the place open he could say something. I've donated twice the standard fee each year, I'm not free riding on anyone else. Unlike you, I view this place as nothing more than a place to run my mouth, I'm not looking for deep and meaningful Friendships.

Fact, Rat party members of Congress and the Biden White House still run interference for China when people try and link the origins of the virus to China. I'm not going to "celebrate" half measures and some late comers to the anti-China policy when they are still schilling for China and making money off of China. Give me a call when they start putting the screws to their paymasters in big tech and Hollywood who help to bankroll them.

Biden and the Rats use the exact same criticism of this country that the fucking Chinese use. Admit that they were lying their asses off in order to win elections and that all the talk of "systemic racism" and blacks being hunted down by racist cops was all lies told in order to win an election and then I'll listen. Until then fuck off. Their criticism of the US is no different from China's

All the fucking hand-wringing over Trump calling it the "China" virus is done precisely because most on the left still want to kiss China's ass. China is now using the left's dishonest "racism" criticism against us and most of the people in the Rat party I see, are agreeing with China.
I couldn't give two shits about what you "see". Biden and Senate democrats have come around on recognizing China as the threat they are. You can either celebrate that your boy set the trend here, or bitch and whine and helplessly hope that the dems stay on the wrong side of this issue.
And I could give less than two shits about what you feel. Fact, Biden a little over a year ago dismissed the idea that China was an enemy. Fact, Rat party members of Congress and the Biden White House still run interference for China when people try and link the origins of the virus to China. I'm not going to "celebrate" half measures and some late comers to the anti-China policy when they are still schilling for China and making money off of China. Give me call when they start putting the screws to their paymaster in big tech and Hollywood who help to bankroll them.
You and I actually agree on most of this, but you're such a cantankerous cunt that you don't even recognize it.
    Yes, yes you agree with

Tucker Carlson is nearly perfect in my book. The only time he deviates is that kind of whiny mode he can sometimes slip into. But otherwise, I like the Tuck.

Also the kind of guy who shows up at 7-11 when he says he's going to show up. Doesn't leave you hanging there sucking on a Slurpee with your dick in your hand.
This is an oddly bad take from you. Tucker is a soft wannabe who peddles populist bullshit in an effort to distract from his elitist roots. Own your wealth and don't be a pussy-footed fake.

He's also the last person who would show up at a 7-11. I can't remember the last time I saw him debate an actual heavyweight. Usually it's just some pink haired antifa college student who he slaps around for five minutes giving them more attention than they would ever deserve.

How does he distract from his elitist roots? His Dad was in Television in California. He grew up in California. That's all I know about him and more than I care to know about his "roots." Is what he saying accurate and insightful, yes or no? If it is yes, who gives a fuck about his "roots."

Race scare me? Not so much. I tell myself all the time I'm the one motherfucker on this board who doesn't get schweaty ballz when Race goes gladiator. My only weakness vis a vis Race is that I clamor for his attention and approval. @RaceBannon @MikeSeaver He knows that and generally likes to withhold those things in response.

Real life calls me away a bit this time of year. Working my way back.

I don't know ... I've just always liked his style and delivery. Like I said, when he gets that whinny look on his face and starts poor mouthing, he's a little annoying. But when he's on I like him. I don't always agree with him ... he is given somewhat to dramatics, so I don't take everything he says literally. And occasionally he puts his foot in his mouth. But I think he's someone you'd enjoy having a beer with. Maybe not nearly perfect, but an OKG IMO.

Compare and contrast with Hannity. Carlson doesn't really have heroes as far as I can tell, and nobody is really off limits with him. Whereas I honestly think Trump or Jr. could take a shit on Hannity's lawn and he'd make a shrine out of it.

Just because I'm a left-wing commie in the Tug doesn't mean I'm not at least somewhat conservative in real life.

I hear he's leading the Shelton Pride parade this year.

His dad was a local ABC News guy who broke the story on the Lady and the Dale. A 70s tranny con person. It was on HBO

I haven't watched any cable shit since the election.
