Sure it was my grandpa's car before it was mine, and I don't know or care much about cars. But when I hit the gas, it would really go.
If you ever drove an 80s era Lincoln Continental, with a hood that seemed to go on for 100 yards, you'd have the same feeling. Those cars moved when you hit the gas.

@BennyBeaver So is that a Plymouth Fury? Is that what i'm looking at? And by the way, I thought that you were in the process of fucking off... what happened with that, how did that go? I've never really understood quite how that works out. Maybe I should be asking @Doog_de_Jour, seems like she might know about that...

@BennyBeaver ... yah, sorry, had it in mind that you were the one that posted the pic of the Fury? but in looking back I see that it was @HHusky....
But the question regarding the status of fucking off and more particularly staying fucked off per recommendation and instruction from @PurpleBaze is still an open ended question... I mean i think there is a book and maybe a movie deal involved in that whole progression as i understand it....

It does raise an interesting, almost metaphysical question. That is, what happens to one when one fucks off? Where does one go? And for how long? Is it fun to go fuck off? Or miserable?

I think this is really a question for @puppylove_sugarsteel... not only has he fucked off but he also highly experienced in the art and thought process of staying fucked off...

Thought I'd share a couple things with you car guys. Please understand that I'm doing this because there are some kindred car souls here. The 2021 Corvette is AWESOME! More car than I was expecting. Handling and overall performance has exceeded my expectations. I've had the pleasure of driving a number of cars that are priced 2X or 3X this one. This car would give a good accounting of itself in comparison. I hope you all have a chance to drive one. Got pulled over 3 times today. Cops wanted to look. Hopefully I'll get enough miles on it next week so I can get it on a speedway.
