Keith is instantly the best corner on any SEC team not named Stingley/Surtain. He is arguably our 4th best corner. Jimmy Lake is a DB whisperer
dude gets targeted a lot for a so called shutdown corner, i thought he was legit NFL prospect but man he looks average out there compared to other guys. Kyler should be getting some of his snaps

He is good. Teams are just deathly afraid to target Molden or McDuffie, so naturally he’s going to get more balls his way.

idk he never flashed all his 4 years here, other corners look different

He’ll go R3ish. He is a good player. He had Michael Pittman in hell last year.

His coverage on that first deep shot was perfect. Would have been nice if he saw the ball but the Utah receiver just made a great catch.
Bless you, @DoogCourics. You're doing the lord's work out here. Even with my bitter, broken doog heart... a quality courics poast always makes me happy.

Lake said during his post game interview with Castricone and Damon that without even looking at the tape, there are two things to fix:
1) Run defense and run fits (guessing like they did against OSU instead of sticking to assignments like Arizona
2) Missed tackles. He said that the missed tackles showed up for the first time all season and it cost them 3rd down conversions and points. He says it will be fixed right away.
He said the QB scrambling wasn’t expected, but that guys weren’t sticking to their pass rush lanes or their run fits the whole first half. It let the QB continue to make plays. He said that’s why Kwat is the best, he made the adjustments, the defense fixed the issues, and the second half was a shutout.
He also said right before the last drive John Donovan pulled the offense together and Lake listened in. Jon Don told the guys we are going to go on a nice long drive the length of the field, we’re going to move the chains, and we’re going to score. We have a lot of time and all our time-outs. Everyone was calm and confident, and Lake knew they would score by looking at that huddle.
He said their 4 min drill is called the Kobe drill, because it’s for finishing the game. He said as the drive went on and plays were made like Puka’s catch, the players on the sideline were chanting “its Kobe time”.

This is boner inducing. Maybe the coolest thing I've read here all morning. TYFYS

You got it dood.
Molden said in his interview that he will remember this game forever, when he’s an old man in a rocking chair he will still be talking about it. He said it’s the most memorable game he’s ever been in, even without the crowd it’s #1.
“I just said to coach Lake, that’s a game where you go in the locker room and you can feel the bond of the team strengthening, so I’ll remember that forever.”
Quite honestly I think this was a big game for the mentality of this team. It showed them that even playing the worst game of the year, doing everything wrong in every aspect and being down 21-0, they proved to themselves that they can fight back and win a game they didn’t have business winning.
“It was a third down. I was guarding the slot, and typically they only run 1 route out of that formation, but they actually ran a different route this time. But I stayed true to my technique, and we got great pressure on them. I don’t know who it was, probably Zion to be honest, and then I just undercut the route.”
Molden on the offense’s 88 yard game winning drive:
“It was perfect to be honest with you. At that point we kinda knew, the defense knew ‘hey offense this is all on you, we’re not going back in. Take this game away, and play after play big plays were being made.”
“I love our offense, I think I’m the number 1 coach Donovan fan out there. Watching them play and do their thing after a game that wasn’t perfect, but watching them execute when the stakes were the highest was just awesome.”

In CFB week to week play is ALWAYS up and down, unless you have NC caliber talent.
Right now this is a top 25 team that could be a top 10 team by season's end, they just have to keep getting better (and avoid major injuries).
