Not hyperbole. Socialist, totalitarian utopia achieved in Oregon.

Brown also said today that she has directed the Oregon State Police to begin coordinating with local law enforcement agencies to police the restrictions on in-home gatherings. Brown noted that households that violate the six-person limit will be committing a misdemeanor and could be to subject to citation or arrest.

"We have not chosen to enforce the law in the past," Brown said. "Unfortunately, now we have no other option."

    You actually do, Kate.

You're making a decision to arrest. That's on you.

    From the Back Cover

On the last hot day of summer in 1992, gunfire cracked over a rocky knob in northern Idaho, just south of the Canadian border. By the next day three people were dead, and a small war was joined, pitting the full might of federal law enforcement against one well-armed family. Drawing on extensive interviews with Randy Weaver's family, government insiders, and others, Jess Walter traces the paths that led the Weavers to their confrontation with federal agents and led the government to treat a family like a gang of criminals.

This is the story of what happened on Ruby Ridge: the tragic and unlikely series of events that destroyed a family, brought down the number-two man in the FBI, and left in its wake a nation increasingly attuned to the dangers of unchecked federal power.

People would be well-served to read this book. Weaver held extremist views, no doubt- but he lived up in the fucking woods and essentially just wanted to be left alone.

It took a battalion of ATF and FBI agents to take him into custody. There are literally thousands if not tens of thousands of Randy Weavers out there.

The ongoing intrusion into personal privacy, beliefs and gatherings is something the Kate Browns of the world have no idea what they are about to unleash. Could be within the next couple weeks, could be within the next couple months....who knows? But it's going to happen sooner or later if they keep trying to push directives on how people live their day to day lives.

Public health used to be one the few functions of government that even small government conservatives viewed as legitimate. Your descent into anarchy is notable, ladies.

What does this have to do with public health? We should have let the virus virus this spring and summer and let those who want to hide in their basements do so. Public health is a lot more than cases. It also entails actually living and working. So, your Costco worker can see a hundred customers but I'm supposed to be afraid of having my kids over for Thanksgiving.

So, I can go riot for BLM but can't have a Thanksgiving dinner because of science.

PS Lots of died in residences. I'm in pretty good shape for 66. I'm assuming that if you die in residence you have some terminal illness other than the chi com crud which just finished you off. I know only one person who has been hospitalized with the chi com crud and she is a diabetic. You leftards act like this is a death sentence.
