Here's the thing, I can understand private property owners wanting private armed security. In the short term, in certain democratic cities, the Movement has won on police defund or pullback, if not through city council action already, then through narrative. Cities such as NYCC are seeing a rise in personal and property crime. Everyone wants personal security, and in absence of the social contract providing, those with means can get an actual contract with Securitas.
I don't think this is an outcome weº broadly want. If Defund continues, it is what we'll have.
In this case, I can't see why this guy was shot, or why he tried to mace the guard. I saw a video of the lead-up to shooting, and there was nothing more than shouting, including a white guy in a Biden shirt calling other people n---ahs.
Furthermore, no uniform?
