Money does stupid shit.

Always pay/get paid in cash. Wire transmission opens up a whole different can of worms.

Let this be a warning to All professional fundraisers who were ever compensated for their efforts and expertise.
  • doogiedoogie Member Posts: 15,072
Shocking that some of the compensation earned for professional services rendered was used to pay bills.

Just think how much money the Clinton's siphoned off their non-profit. Sounds guilty, but obviously targeted.

Trump fired him over three years ago. Good foresight.

Typically, professional fundraisers are paid a pct of what they raise.

    Why is this ANY different?

Unsure but GoFundMe has always seemed sketchy as hell. The ditz who looked like Garth and lied about Kavanaugh got over $700,000. She said she was going to donate a lot of it to women’s trauma groups, but I can’t find a link that she actually did so other than saying she would. I’ll assume she was yet again lying.

So Bannon bought a boat allegedly that he used in a Trump boat parade so naturally twitter is blaming Trump and every boat in any parade as being as guilty as Bannon

Bannon and company promised that 100% of he funds raised would go fund political campaigns. He lied and used false invoices and shell companies to extract over a $1 million much of which went to cover personal expenses. Allegedly.

This is the key. If you advertise 100% of funds going to political campaigns, and it doesn't, that's fraud.

That’s just stupid. Bannon looked awful after Trump fires him. Liter of vodka and Valium awful when he was ranting about Trump. Easy to make a mistake in that state of mind. Lock him up. Maybe he can sober up.

You mean fundraisers who represented to donors that they were not being compensated?

Most aren’t on the right in this thread aren’t defending him. Perhaps you could take this lesson of integrity and objectivity to heart instead of jumping on the outlier, like the partisan hack in you compels you to do. Just a suggestion.

This balanced approach in the thread appeals to me.

Speaking of integrity, you won't want to explore how this case sheds light on AG Butterball's sudden desire to remove the SDNY US Attorney a couple months ago. It wasn't just the investigation of Rudy he was trying to quash.

Wow, that’s a lot of original content from you. Are you feeling OK? I’m used to copy/paste and then you hide a few days.

Sounds like another one of your kooky conspiracy theories. Have you seen a mental health professional yet?

Since you brought it up, though, lay out the full conspiracy. This should be good.
