They wouldn’t win, so it doesn’t matter, but people like the Chili Peppers. I’m sure there are a few fans here.

They definitely have some worthy albums. Lots of bands have stuck around as long as they have but few have continued to produce relevant shit as long as RHCP.

They fell off HARD. Californication is an chinstant dial change.

@dnc you can make up for this with Tool inclusion in your pole.

Tool will definitely make at least a couple years, probably more.

My personal biases mean Chevelle probably will too which may not be as well received.
    I fucking love Chevelle!

It's not my favorite album of there's but there's some good chit on it. Will be chinteresting to see if there's enough quality in 99 to keep it off the pole. Top of my head I would guess it qualifies rather easily. IIRC the garage revival stuff didn't really hit until 2000 or 2001.

Fell In Love With A Girl dropped in 01 (off White Blood Cells). I just got them swapped in my head.

They did have an album in 00 and 99 though which may make the list. I didn't realize they went back quite that far.

I'd be a Chilli Peppers fan if they had never made a ballad. Their ballads make me want to stick red hot ice picks in my ears. Blood Sugar Sex Magic was a kick ass album without Under the Bridge. With that syrupy slop it belongs in the pig slop bin, and that's the only song I ever hear from it anymore.
