Post 05 you're talking bands like MCR, Arctic Monkeys, AFI to go with Muse, Black Keys and Raconteurs. Maybe some Kings of Leon.

I refuse to include Vampire Weekend or Arcade Fire in anything.

Probably only good for through 2005 or so though I haven't mapped it out yet so I may be able to get a bit past that. There's definitely a big drop off cumming.

I’m in the age bracket that I could find quite a few I like from the mid 2000’s. Killers, Modest Mouse, System of a Down, probably forgetting a bunch more.
Yeah The Killers debut album is a certainty but even that was like 03 or 04 I think. I didn't think Modest Mouse of SOAD had anything great after 05 but I haven't dug into it yet. Top of my head no Google like Pup I know Muse has some great shit post 05 plus there's a few different Jack White projects and a Black Keys album or two. It's not a particularly deep pool though.

Will probably have to include some Coldplay which will piss off the natives.

Please to be including some prime Amy Lee in '03...

@dnc you can make up for this with Tool inclusion in your pole.

Tool will definitely make at least a couple years, probably more.

My personal biases mean Chevelle probably will too which may not be as well received.

Best album of the 2000s was Amy Winehouse - Back to Black.

    Fuck off.

I honesty don't disagree although I'd put Get Rich or Die Tryin' right there.

They wouldn’t win, so it doesn’t matter, but people like the Chili Peppers. I’m sure there are a few fans here.

They definitely have some worthy albums. Lots of bands have stuck around as long as they have but few have continued to produce relevant shit as long as RHCP.

They fell off HARD. Californication is an chinstant dial change.

It's not my favorite album of there's but there's some good chit on it. Will be chinteresting to see if there's enough quality in 99 to keep it off the pole. Top of my head I would guess it qualifies rather easily. IIRC the garage revival stuff didn't really hit until 2000 or 2001.

Fell In Love With A Girl dropped in 01 (off White Blood Cells). I just got them swapped in my head.

They did have an album in 00 and 99 though which may make the list. I didn't realize they went back quite that far.

I'd be a Chilli Peppers fan if they had never made a ballad. Their ballads make me want to stick red hot ice picks in my ears. Blood Sugar Sex Magic was a kick ass album without Under the Bridge. With that syrupy slop it belongs in the pig slop bin, and that's the only song I ever hear from it anymore.
