They wouldn’t win, so it doesn’t matter, but people like the Chili Peppers. I’m sure there are a few fans here.

They definitely have some worthy albums. Lots of bands have stuck around as long as they have but few have continued to produce relevant shit as long as RHCP.

I'd be a Chilli Peppers fan if they had never made a ballad. Their ballads make me want to stick red hot ice picks in my ears. Blood Sugar Sex Magic was a kick ass album without Under the Bridge. With that syrupy slop it belongs in the pig slop bin, and that's the only song I ever hear from it anymore.
It's stupefying the band who produced this,

Probably only good for through 2005 or so though I haven't mapped it out yet so I may be able to get a bit past that. There's definitely a big drop off cumming.

    2001 - Present:

    Muse
    My Chemical Romance
Foo Fighters - although, as I have said elsewhere, I never thought any of their individual albums were complete from front to back
    The Black Keys

Others have listed some good ones here. I think there's also a sea of hipster shit that probably produces one or two worthy of inclusion. I could never tolerate the stuff played on KEXP, though, so can't really add much there.

I would add the White Stripes, the Strokes, the Vines, the Raconteurs and Chevelle but yeah everyone you listed is quite worthy.

Probably 10 years ago I saw a guitar god special with Jimmy Page some other boomers and this Jack White. I had never heard of him. Then I saw some White Stripes videos and thought the concept was different and that he could fucking play the guitar.

Later on driving with my smoking hot assistants there was a song on and the guitar stood out and I asked if it was Jack White. And it was

If this old boomer can not only be impressed but recognize his sound he's pretty damn good

Best guitarist of the last 30 years with really only Morello in his league IMO.

The other guitar player was Edge.

They fell off HARD. Californication is an chinstant dial change.

That album had some bad ass, funked up rock on it. Righteous and Wicked is one of my favorite songs from the 90s. I boycott it though, because of shit like Kalifornication being more popular.

I'm the opposite. Their skat funk comes off more like LA try hard bullshit to me.

    I love Stadium Arcadium.
