I'll be wrapping up my part in this tomorrow with 1980 and 81. @dnc has volunteered to take time away from planning the Wednesday night (socially distanced) church potluck to pole 1997 and beyond. We'll see what kind of shit he can scrounge up...

    Probably only good for through 2005 or so though I haven't mapped it out yet so I may be able to get a bit past that. There's definitely a big drop off cumming.

    Somebody should run a statistical analysis of the pole results to see which posters have the closest musical taste.

    @TheChart ?

    @TheChart ?

    I have thought about this multiple tims (Gladstone's circle jerk, the rap battle) but never had the tim, energy or expertise to put into tit.

    Sounds like a good jerb for @UW_Doog_Bot quite honestly.

    I’m in the age bracket that I could find quite a few I like from the mid 2000’s. Killers, Modest Mouse, System of a Down, probably forgetting a bunch more.

    Yeah The Killers debut album is a certainty but even that was like 03 or 04 I think. I didn't think Modest Mouse of SOAD had anything great after 05 but I haven't dug into it yet. Top of my head no Google like Pup I know Muse has some great shit post 05 plus there's a few different Jack White projects and a Black Keys album or two. It's not a particularly deep pool though.

    Will probably have to include some Coldplay which will piss off the natives.

    I just hope a 90s album wins to appease @RoadDawg55 finally.

    I like all of those bands (though Audioslave was never as great as the sum of it's parts for me). Everyone on that list had their best shit by 05 though.
