Carville: "Significant Chance" Trump Drops Out, "Doesn't Make Much Sense For Him To Run"

I didn’t attack you. He/She/Xir up and go vandalize things with the rest of your liberal pals.incremetal_progress said:
Sounds like you're the one attacking me for thinking differently than you.NorthwestFresh said:
When he beats Biden, stop being a keyboard pussy and go burn down and vandalize businesses and homes with the rest of your violent Leftists. That’s Seattle democracy. With the way you mentally ill Leftists attack anyone who doesn’t think like you, less people are going to state support for Trump to somebody calling their phone number. I sure wouldn’t.incremetal_progress said:
He's finished. The writing is on the fucking wall, you can choose to ignore it but there are polls showing him losing in Georgia and Texas. That's 350 EV landslide territory.Pitchfork51 said:After being on punked dozens of times since 16 the left has legitimately convinced themselves that Trump is finished. Again.
How do you guys keep doing this? It's completely nuts.
After pretty much the worst couple of months ever for the country and the pres he's like even with Biden. Now that things will get back to normal over the next couple months and biden will come out of the basement and kill any enthusiasm he has it'll be hilarious.
Black people won't vote this year and young people won't vote as usual.
Everyone on the left is basically like an abuse victim. Despite getting fooled over and over again you close your eyes super hard and convince yourselves it'll be different this time! CNN promised!
You can say polls have always shown him to be weak and that's true to some degree but it's never been close to this bad. Even the R internal polls are shit for him and GOP senators. He's always been within 3-4 points in WI, MI and PA and now he's down 10. He's consistently been up in Florida and Arizona and trails in both now.
Imagine believing polls at all, let alone in early July. -
In 2016, I spent a month driving around the country including large portions of the rust belt. When I got back to Seattle saying that I thought that there was a good chance Trump was going to win, I was told I was crazy.
In 2020, I'm listening to a lot of my friends that are largely central to slightly central right, particularly in Texas, telling me that they are done with Trump.
The thing is that I don't think this is about those people saying that they are going to vote for Biden ... I think it's them sitting there hoping for somebody/anybody to give them a realistic different option that they can get behind.
Right now, the 2020 election is shaping up for anybody with a brain that leans right having to massively hold their nose to vote for Trump. Not voting is essentially voting for Biden. It's a complete lose/lose to anybody on the right with a brain right now. That's why you have people starting to sound the alarm bells because you have someone that can't string together a complete sentence sitting in his basement being massively protected kicking the shit out of an incumbent POTUS ... it's wild. -
I thought there was no way Trump was winning in 2016 because the media told me so. How do you know Trump is losing?Tequilla said:

I think it's a complete joke that Biden is the Democratic nominee ... dude can't complete a sentence without tripping over himself.
Trump's losing right now to that fool pretty significantly.
In 2016, I felt an undercurrent of people discrediting that Trump could win.
In 2020, I see Trump as nuclear as an option for better or worse ... if he gets re-elected it's going to be an ugly 4 years for this country.
I'd be jumping up and down to have 2 different candidates right now ...
Can't wait to see who Biden selects as his VP because I expect that whoever that is will serve over 1/2 of Biden's initial term. -
Your friends aren’t representative of the majority of voters. People always trick themselves into this kind of thinking. The big liberal cities are the biggest culprit.Tequilla said:In 2016, I spent a month driving around the country including large portions of the rust belt. If Trump wins, it will be more an indictment on how shitty of a candidate Biden truly is.
Would it shock me if Trump won? Not necessarily.
Personally, I don't think another 4 years of Trump would be good for this country simply because he's shown over the last 4 years that he's extremely divisive ... that's not me saying that I think Biden is good for the Country either because I think he's largely a puppet at this point.
Little Presidential History Trivia ...
Going back to 1840, every single President elected in a year ending in 0 has either died in office (Harrison, Lincoln, Garfield, McKinley, Harding, FDR, JFK) or had an assassination attempt on them (Reagan) with the exception of Dubya.
Will the 2020 winner fall into the category of the 8 Presidents before Dubya or be the outlier like Dubya? -
Teq: I think you and your friends are psyching yourselves out, probably succumbing to the daily Orange Man Bad drums that play in a loop, 24/7/365.
-
I’ve got all the screen shots I need. I see DJ being quite busy the day after election night, with a few posters wanting him to delete their accounts.
-
Is he really divisive or has that talking point been repeated 1,000,000,000,000,000,000 times by the dems and the national media to the point everyone now believes it?Tequilla said:

We heard for 3 years about collusion and Russian interference and impeachment but nothing came of it. The dems and the national media keep wanting this to be true and the national media stopped the perception of trying to be impartial in 2016. -
Lol wtf. It's the voters for biden that aren't going to turn out
A non vote is a vote for Trump teq you fool.
-
The Democrats spied on the Trump campaign using a lie-filled FISA warrant, called Trump a Russian agent and spent over two years trying to find crimes while “investigating” what they knew was a lie, then impeached him over something Joe Biden is actually on both video and a phone call admitting a quid pro quo with Ukraine for a firing of a prosecutor. Yet it’s Trump who is divisive. OK, whatever. I’ll throw in Hillary Clinton calling half of Trump supporters racist, misogynistic Deplorables before the election. Such unity those Democrats have shown.Tequilla said:

I voted mostly Democrat for most of my life. The last 3 years have changed my mind completely. The Dems are a dumpster fire anymore. The entire party is a criminal syndicate, building and expanding upon divisiveness, racism, hate, intolerance, and incompetence. They won't be happy until the entire country is looks like Paradise, Cali after the fires, because they are POS human beings perpetrating lies and frauds to maintain their illegitimate grip on power. They are the party of ANTIFA. They are the party of Riots and Looting. They are the party of angry mobs, beating up innocent people. They are the party of skinny white girls and boys who scream "RACIST!!!" into the faces of black cops and soldiers. They are the party that burns the American Flag and cheers the toppling of statues.NorthwestFresh said:

None of it works without having a controlled media to push liberal narratives. There is a recorded call where then VP Biden is on the phone with the Ukraine president literally laying out the conditions for how Ukraine would get $1 billion in aid. Fire the prosecutor (investigating his son’s company), or no money. The DNC Media never reported on it, so how would the less-political general public, who don’t follow things as close as the posters here, ever know about it?TurdBomber said:

My friends that openly and proudly voted for Hilary/Dems for the past 4 years are constantly foaming at the mouth about politics and the evils of Trump. TDS is 100% real and I have watched it melt well meaning but dumb friends minds who liked one idea like single payer healthcare morph into lockstep leftist robots on every issue.
I have quiet a few younger, moderate, republican friends that didnt vote in 2016 because they were unsure of Trump but despised the Bush/Clinton dynasty, all have openly stated they plan to vote for Trump this time around.
I have not met a single person who voted for Trump in 2016 that have said they have regretted it or plan on not voting for Trump this time around.
As far as the boomer generation, I have met more confused old democrat and middle ground boomers that can't keep up with the swirling politics around them than I can count. Some will just check the "D" like they have for the past 40 years, others like my tier 5 planned parenthood donor and democrat fundraising dinner attending great aunt realized that her grandchildren are going to have to work harder to get into college because they cant claim minority status is either going to not vote or vote Trump.
Its impossible to guess whats going to happen with all the mainstream and social media gas-lighting that is clearly occurring. The vast majority of people that are not hard left are hedging their public political beliefs, even in casual conversation, everyone has seen what can occur if you are placed in the lefts cancel crosshair. -
I've voted Dem as many times as I've voted GOP. The spying, the abuse of the impeachment system, being owned by the CCP, shifting towards socialism and away from free markets, I'm done with the Dems as they currently exist.

I wonder when it's gonna hit HardcoreHusky that Trump 2020 is a lost cause. Republicans including Pence and McConnell are now desperately trying to reverse course and get on the right side of the mask issue. This is what McConnell said today.
how big an admission do you need that Trump's positioning on this issue is completely untenable. Not to mention the country thought he botched the protests.
So on the issues that people actually care about this year he's pretty much laid a goose egg. 6 months of screaming about statues and pretending like the virus is gone won't help. -
I thought the 2016 election was difficult to handicap
That was easy compared to 2020

People don't care about masks The virus is gone. The country does not think he botched the protests. People care about jobs that the democrats took from them. They want them back, One man has been calling for it since April.
Trump knows more about the issues that you can glean from your talking points that you throw up here daily.
And you still are voting for a guy that has to hide in the basement with dementia. So tell me who is the idiot? -
It's also possible he wins because people at home are sick and tired of seeing their country and history pissed on and sold out by a bunch of entitled spoiled-brat ingrates who are dumber than fucking posts and need a great big ass-whooping and come-to-Jesus reality check. The extremes are polarized at this point. What nobody has a great grasp is how the middle reacts.
Nobody in England expected Johnson to win, but the Cons fucking annihilated Labor at the polls, re-capturing seats in places they hadn't held for 5 decades or more.
Here's the reality that seems to be forming: Whomever the press's chosen candidate is, that person is likely to be trounced at the actual polls on Election Day. -
Jesus fucking christ you moron. No one gives a shit what your 5 outspoken liberal friends think. Hell, some people probably give lip service to avoid confrontation and then turn around and vote trumpTequilla said:

I pay attention to what goes on around me and people that I know from around the country.

Cool anecdotes as always, you really have the pulse of the country down!!! -
People are sick and tired all right, just not about what you're talking about.TurdBomber said:
It's also possible he wins because people at home are sick and tired of seeing their country and history pissed on and sold out by a bunch of entitled spoiled-brat ingrates who are dumber than fucking posts and need a great big ass-whooping and come-to-Jesus reality check. Look what the shenanigans and malarkey at Evergreen State and U of Missouri did to the 2016 Election.Tequilla said:

Also everyone was expecting a massive win by Johnson in that election, but you can pretend like Johnson being up 10 points in polling is the same as Trump being down 10 points in polling. -
That is so refreshing to hear. I hope you're young.UW_Doog_Bot said:I've voted Dem as many times as I've voted GOP. The spying, the abuse of the impeachment system, being owned by the CCP, shifting towards socialism and away from free markets, I'm done with the Dems as they currently exist.

That was easy compared to 2020 -

Commies openly talking about subverting America and they are senators and congress critters!
Burn it all down! -
This shit appeals to nobody that wasn't already motivated to vote for Trump already. In fact it actively motivates people to vote against him.

1. The seizure of my property and further restrictions placed on my 1a and 2a rights.
2. Some mean tweets reacting to fs pc mob culture.
This is what people on the Left can't seem to grasp. There's bigger fish at stake than civilized rhetoric and political correctness.
