I'm big on the talent we have and I've been called a doog for being somewhat optimistic about our qb situation. I am not fond of our recruiting efforts and mismanagement right now. Im not sure how one could be.CallMeBigErn said:

That game was so god damn frustrating to watch. Defense looked fine on 1st and 2nd down, and then McSorley would carve them up on 3rd down. There was one point where PSU converted something like 10 or 11 3rd downs in a row, if memory serves me correctly.haie said:

I can't describe what a "gamer" is, but I know it when I see it and this qb made every correct decision, was lightning fast in every decision he made, and was smart enough to pick up the 1st down when available and knew when to take shots as well. Could run, throw accurately on the run, and sits in the pocket like he kept his switch and bong in there. That is the only true dismantling of UWs K/Lake defense I've ever seen, maybe a distant second is Stanford in 2017 but still doesn't come close to what McSorely accomplished and I don't even think he needed Barkley to do it.
To march down the field like that against 2017 UW and Vita Vea is amazing. Barkley's TD simply took advantage of that situation.
That game was a blueprint for other teams beating us in 18 and 19. -

That surprises me a bit. I know they're not game seasoned, but UW hasnt had such a large number of upper tier OL prospects since I've been paying close attention. There are enough bodies in at least their second year that you'd think they can assemble a solid to good line out of it.sonics1993 said:

Probably going to have five new starters as I believe Kirkland will move over to left tackle and Luke will play center. Limited practice hurts OL the most since they all five need to be in sync and with five new starters that will be a challenge. And then there is Huff and his questionable coaching. Go back and watch the last few games, our OL was awful and Eason was getting killed whenever he dropped back to pass. So while we definitely have talent in that room, the lack of experience along with the lack of practice time along with Huff's questionable coaching has me worried.chuck said:

Copy. It's not that the players arent there so much as whether or not they'll be well coached and ready as a unit. Makes sense.sonics1993 said:
