Trashing govt buildings is serious, and making excuses for why these nutjobs are crazy for the last 20 years instead of enforcing the laws of the land is what emboldens (and grows the numbers of) these crazies to do shit like this.RoadDawg55 said:It’s not that serious and while this is entertaining, it’s sensationalized. It’s a lot of people (mostly young) that don’t have jobs and have nothing better to do.
Fox News and conservative media had a field day about it and I get their point about what the reporting would be if it were right wingers instead. It needs to end before something bad inevitably happens and Seattle is pussified, but we already knew that.
Seattle fucked up letting it get to this point. Now, you either have to let it stay until something really bad happens and the public demands it or force them out, which could also have consequences. -
This. It is serious and should be treated as such. The real tragic comedy is the leadership Washington State has voted in at state and city levels. Incredible.HoustonHusky said:

The sad truth is every single election is now framed relative to the mean orange man in the White House.
And that's really fucked because shit happens at the local level where people's lives are actually impacted.

Yeah, no big deal. This is what democracy looks like!

Wait, so it’s a mash-up photo of things that really happened? Meaning there were more incidents of destruction than in that photo? I’m not sure how this helps the CHAZers.insinceredawg said:Right wingers love to lie and be lied to

Not really what she said. It was about response times to the area served by the cancelled East precinct.NorthwestFresh said:Yeah, no big deal. This is what democracy looks like!
