Nobody will remember it this way in the end. Granted, if he wins re-election none of it will matter, but that press conference will be remembered as him telling people to inject disinfectant into themselves, whether or not he said that.

He absolutely was. The problem is that he shouldn’t have been the one to simplify the study for the lay person, that was the job of the DHS guy. However, because Trump wants to be at these things, he has the tendency to stick his foot in his mouth which he did.
