You can come live in our basement. My wife is hot and I like to watch.Doog_de_Jour said:I went on a walk with one of my friends this weekend and the subject of moving came up. We both are getting pretty fed up with the Seattle area. It’s chinteresting that I’ve had multiple people in the past month express the same views.
If you had to relocate (time, money, job not being a problem), where would you go?

I have thought several times about relocating to Tempe, Scottsdale, or Santa Fe, NM. Regarding Arizona, I love the heat, but would also miss the rain and greenery.Doog_de_Jour said:
Idaho is high on my list. I really enjoyed Scottsdale, but I can’t handle hot climates.PandaOrangeChiknDuck said:Idaho
Least restrictive hunting laws in the country I believe
Scottsdale Arizona is pretty nice too, but the heat in the summer gets to be a little crazy.
The liberal politics around here sometimes seem too much. -
I’m sorry...do I know you? You look familiar?BrosephStalin said:

Just get some vodka lemonade, chill in the pool, and murder political rivals

How do you feel about affordable cost of living, low unemployment, good food and beverages, plenty of outdoor and cultural activities, and being within driving distance of three major cities without living in a congested nightmare?Doog_de_Jour said:@Mad_Son and @PurpleBaze - what do you guys think about Madison, WI?

Oh, and unrelatedly, how do you feel about cold winters?
When I had to answer the question where I wanted to live the rest of my life, I didn't end up going back to the PNW. -
Pretty good about all of the above actually!Mad_Son said:

I just moved to Lakewood. Which saddens me as I've moved further away from @PurpleBaze, but I am now closer as the crow flies to @89ute and @RaceBannon . TBH, I don't like my chances. Was happy to learn my state rep and county rep are anti tax conservatives.
Outside the PNW, I'd move to northern Salt Lake, or Temecula. I have my reasons.
Sexual conquests aside, I'd probably end up in West Virginia.
